Abigail Grace Fletcher was born on May 30, 1999 to Dave and Kelly Fletcher. She has two younger brothers, David and Will. Abby is a senior at River Dell Regional High School, graduating in the spring of 2017. During Abby's spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, photography and watching football.

Abby started taking gymnastics classes for fun at the age of four in 2003 and fell in love with the sport. She started her gymnastics career at the Eastern National Academy of Gymnastics (ENA Paramus) in Paramus, New Jersey and has been there ever since.

Abby started competing level 4 in 2007 where she placed second in the all-around and first on vault at the Christmas on the Chesapeake. She moved up to level 5 in the spring of 2008 and competed at the State Championships. She competed level 6 in 2009 and level 7 in 2010.

As a level 8 gymnast in 2011, she finished sixth on floor exercise and eighth overall at the Hill's Maryland Classic. She scored a 9.350 on floor exercise at the Parkettes Invitational and a 9.325 on the same event at the IGI Chicago Style. At the State Championships, she brought home a silver medal on floor exercise scoring a 9.575. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships, finishing third on floor exercise with a 9.450.

In 2012, Abby finished fourth on floor exercise at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the Excalibur Cup, she placed fourth in the all-around and third on uneven bars and floor exercise. She finished sixth on floor exercise with a 9.325 at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, Abby placed eighth on vault and tenth on floor exercise.

Abby continued competing level 9 for the 2013 season. She finished second in the all-around and first on vault and floor exercise at the Christmas on the Chesapeake. At the Star Struck Invitational, she earned a silver medal on vault with a 9.525. Abby placed third in the all-around and first on vault and balance beam at the Parkettes Invitational. She had a great meet at the State Championships where she scored AA score of 36.900, her career-high level 9 AA score. She also placed fifth on uneven bars and floor exercise and sixth on vault. At the Region 7 Championships, Abby finished sixth in the all-around, fifth on balance beam and fourth on floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals, finishing ninth on balance beam, eighth on floor exercise and 13th in the all-around.

In 2014, Abby placed fifth in the all-around and fourth on vault and uneven bars at the Christmas on the Chesapeake. She placed fourth in the all-around and second on floor exercise at the Garden State Classic. At the California Classic, Abby placed fourth in the all-around, second on floor exercise and third on balance beam. At the State Championships, she finished sixth in the all-around and second on floor exercise. She concluded her season at the Region 7 Championships, finishing fifth on floor exercise and eighth on vault.

Abby started her 2015 season at the Fantasia Classic, finishing fifth in the all-around and second on floor exercise. At the Twilight Knight Invitational, she placed sixth in the all-around, first on vault and second on balance beam. Abby finished fourth on vault at the Region 7 Championships.

In 2016, Abby placed fourth on vault and balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she finished eighth in the all-around, first on floor exercise and third on vault. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Ft. Worth, TX where she placed eighth on vault.

Currently, Abby is preparing for the 2017 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 24 hours per week at ENA Paramus under coaches Craig Zappa, Jenn Zappa and John Wojtczuk. She would like to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals as well as to compete for a Division 1 college gymnastics team.
