Ashley Noelle Foss was born on November 18, 1998 in Pompton Plains, New Jersey to Glenn and Christine Foss. Ashley has one older sister, Giselle and one younger sister, Saige. Saige is a level 6 gymnast at North Stars Gymnastics Academy. During Ashley's spare time, she likes to do anything with art and crafts.

Ashley started gymnastics at North Stars in a recreation class at the age of three. At home, she could not sit to watch a TV show without flipping over on or around the couch. One day after a gymnastic class, she was in the living room trying to copy the team girls tricks. At four or five years old, she was trying to do an anode and getting pretty close. By then, Ashley's mom knew!

Prior her level 8 season in 2009, Ashley made the National TOPs "B" Team in the fall of 2008. During the 2008-2009 season, Ashley began competing as a level 8 gymnast. She placed first on vault, balance beam and in the all-around at the Winter Classic. At the Brestyan's Invitational, she finished second in the all-around and first on vault. She won the all-around and uneven bars titles at the Parkettes Invitational. At the Level 8 State Championships, she placed eighth in the all-around, third on floor exercise and fourth on uneven bars. In December, Ashley was named to the National Team Training Squad.

Ashley began her 2009-2010 season as a level 9 gymnast at the Christmas on the Chesapeake where she finished fourth in the all-around and first on uneven bars and balance beam. At the Parkettes Invitational, she placed second on vault, balance beam and in the all-around as well as first on floor exercise. Ashley earned bronze medals on vault and floor exercise at the Level 9 State Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals after winning the all-around title at the Level 9 Regionals. In July, Ashley qualified to hopes pre-elite and placed third overall at the US Challenge in Chicago, IL.

In June of 2011, Ashley traveled to Florida for the Disney National Elite Qualifier where she placed first on balance beam and in the all-around. This qualified Ashley to junior international elite and to the Classics. A few weeks later, she competed at the American Classic in Texas and finished sixth in the all-around. She then traveled to Chicago, IL for the US Covergirl Classic and finished 28th in the all-around and 14th on floor exercise.

Now, Ashley is a junior international elite gymnast from North Stars Gymnastics Academy training under coach Tony Gehman. She trains about 32 hours per week and is training hard for the upcoming 2012 season. Ashley would like to represent the USA team at the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
