Adalynn was always very active, literally scaling our door frames and she was always getting herself stuck in the most awkward spaces. Adalynn's younger sister Aubrey wanted to try gymnastics after watching the Olympics. Adalynn was insistent that she did not want to do gymnastics and she wanted to do karate. She reluctantly agreed to give the eight-week class a try at Saint Mary's Park and Recreation in Great Mills, MD in October 2012. Adalynn came out of her first class with the biggest smile on her face and karate was never mentioned again! Adalynn was invited to the level 3 team seven months later.

In the summer of 2015, Adalynn began training at Unique Sports Academy in Waldorf, MD. She was the 2016 Level 5 MD State Balance Beam Bronze Medalist and 2017 Level 6 MD State Uneven Bars Silver Medalist. She tested out of level 7 and quickly moved up to level 8 for the 2018 season. She placed sixth in the all-around and sixth on floor exercise at the State Championships. Adalynn qualified to the Region 7 Championships where she earned a silver medal on balance beam. Adalynn qualified to the Region 7 Championships in level 9 in 2019 and 2021. She was unable to compete at the 2020 State Championships due to COVID-19 pandemic.

When Adalynn isn't busy training 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys watching Grey's Anatomy, hanging out with her family & friends and helping younger kids. She is a volunteer firefighter with Bay District Volunteer Fire Dept Company 9 in Lexington Park, MD. She is an honor student at Great Mills High School and she will graduate in 2023. Adalynn is a member of National Honor Society and Great Mills NJROTC where she is a platoon commander. Adalynn also organizes Tumbling Elf where she collects and stuffs stockings for a local elementary school. She has donated over 80 Christmas stockings since starting the program in 2020.
