Alexandra started gymnastics because she was very energetic and loved flipping around the house. Whenever Ally would go to the park, she would always swing on the monkey bars. So, her mom decided to enroll her into recreational gymnastics for fun at the age of two. Ally fell in love with the sport and quickly progressed in the sport.

As a level 5 gymnast in 2009, Alexandra finished second in the all-around with a 38.100 and second on vault, uneven bars and balance beam at the State Championships. She skipped level 6 and moved up to level 7 for the 2010 season. She finished third in the all-around with a 37.075 and first on balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. Alexandra competed level 8 in 2011 and 2012, qualifying to the State Championships both seasons.

In 2013, Alexandra competed as a level 9 gymnast where she finished third in the all-around, first on vault and third on floor exercise at the State Championships. She broke the Junior A State record on vault. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships, finishing tenth in the all-around and second on vault.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2014, Alexandra finished seventh in the all-around and fifth on floor exercise at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 7 Championships. In 2015, Alexandra placed sixth in the all-around and fourth on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. She won the vault title and finished tenth overall at the Region 7 Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic NIT in Des Moines, IA where she placed ninth in the all-around. In 2016, Alexandra finished seventh in the all-around, first on floor exercise and fourth on vault. At the Region 7 Championships, she earned a bronze medal on floor exercise.

In 2017, Alexandra finished in the top ten in the all-around and fifth on floor exercise at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships where she placed in the top 15 in the all-around and sixth on floor exercise.

Currently, Alexandra is preparing for the 2018 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 26 hours per week at Action Gymnastics in Howell, NJ under coaches Magdalena During and Tatiana Tcheremnykh. Alexandra would like to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals as well as to compete for a college gymnastics team.
