Alex started doing recreational gymnastics in 2005 when she was four years old. The recreational coach suggested Alex to meet the team coaches because she was a good listener and picked up skills fast. The head coach Anja loved Alex as soon as she met her. She joined the team when she was five years old and started competing level 4 at the age of six. Alex started her gymnastics career at Elite Gymnastics Center in New Milford, CT.

As a level 7 gymnast in 2011, Alex won the vault title at the State Championships. Following the 2011 season, Alex and her family relocated to New Jersey, so Alex started training at Rebound Gymnastics in Marlboro Township, NJ. At the 2012 Level 7 State Championships, she placed second on uneven bars and third on floor exercise. Alex moved up to level 8 for the 2013 season. She placed fourth in the all-around and second on uneven bars and floor exercise. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships, finishing sixth on uneven bars and ninth on floor exercise.

In 2014, Alex moved up level 9 where she finished third on vault, fourth on floor exercise and fifth on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she placed fifth on vault and sixth on floor exercise. Alex qualified to the Level 10 State Championships in 2015 and Region 7 Championships in 2016. In the summer of 2016, Alex started training at Head Over Heels Gymnastics. Alex finished in the top ten in the all-around at the 2017 State Championships and qualified to the Region 7 Championships.

Alexandra trains 22 hours per week at Head Over Heels Gymnastics in Parlin, NJ under coaches Toni Borden and Sonny Smoljen. She is working hard to become a successful level 10 gymnast, qualify to the JO Nationals and to obtain a Division I college scholarship.
