Alexia started taking recreational gymnastics classes at Biron Gymnastics in Houston, TX when she was three years old. She eventually joined pre-team and quickly progressed in the sport. In the summer of 2012, Alexia moved to Champions Gymnastics in Richmond, TX.

In 2013, Alexia finished third on floor exercise with a 9.600 and fifth on vault scoring a 9.600 at the Level 7 State Championships. At the 2014 Level 8 Texas State Championships, she placed fifth on vault with a 9.525. Alexia quickly moved up to level 9 for the 2015 season. At the State Championships, Alexia placed eighth in the all-around and second on vault. She finished third in the all-around with a 37.350 and first on vault scoring a 9.725 at the Region 3 Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals where she won the vault title with a 9.700.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2016, Alexia placed sixth on vault with a 9.550 on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships. In January 2017, Alexia moved to Stars Gymnastics in Houston, TX. In 2017, Alexia finished in the top ten in the all-around and seventh on vault at the Region 3 Championships. Alexia was alternate for the Junior Olympic Nationals.

Currently, Alexia is preparing for the 2018 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains about 30 hours per week at Stars Gymnastics in Houston, TX under coaches Dan and Ashly Baker. Alexia is working hard to reach her long-term goal to compete for a Division I college gymnastics team.
