Welcome to the Official Website of Alex Yacalis. Alex is a level 10 gymnast from Southern Tier Gymnastics Academy (STGA) in New York. She is training under coaches Daile VanPatten and Michael Morse.

Alex qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals three times between 2009-2011. In 2011, she finished first on vault, floor exercise and in the all-around at the Level 10 New York State. At the Level 10 Regionals, she finished second on vault and first on floor exercise. Alex finished seventh on vault at the 2011 Junior Olympic Nationals. In 2012, Alex finished third on vault at the Level 10 NY State. At the Level 10 Regionals, she placed tenth in the all-around and second on vault. She earned gold medals on vault and floor exercise at the Junior Olympic NIT.

Alex verbally committed to the University of Washington for the 2013-2014 school year. We hope this website will give everyone a chance to learn about this exciting gymnast and to get up-to-date reports on how she is doing with her gymnastic career.
