Welcome to the Official Website of Amanda Huang! Amanda is a senior international elite gymnast from NorthWind Gymnastics in Georgia. She is training under coaches Elena Piskun and Inesa Sharouskaya.
In 2012, Amanda achieved a major personal goal by qualifying to the VISA Championships in the junior division after finishing fourth in the all-around and second on uneven bars at the American Classic. At the VISA Championships in St. Louis, MO, Amanda placed 15th in the all-around, 11th on uneven bars and ninth on floor exercise. She achieved a personal best of 53.000 on the first day of competition.
In the 2011 season, Amanda qualified for her second straight Junior Olympic National appearance, where she finished an impressive sixth in the all-around and claimed a national championship with a first place finish on uneven bars. Amanda was also Level 10 State and Regional champion on uneven bars and finished second and third place in the all-around respectively. After JO Nationals, Amanda went on to qualify as a junior international elite and competed at the US Covergirl Classic.
In Amanda’s first season as a level 10 gymnast (2010), she won the all-around at the Level 10 State Championships, finished third all-around at the Regional Championships and competed at the JO Nationals in Dallas, Texas, finishing 25th overall. Amanda was two-time Level 9 State All-Around Champion (2008 and 2009) and one-time Level 9 Eastern National Qualifier (2008).
