Today at the American Classic in Huntsville, Texas, Amanda finished fourth in the all-around with a 52.700 in the first junior session. She finished second on uneven bars, third on floor exercise and fourth on balance beam. Amanda qualified to the VISA Championships in St. Louis, Missouri next month. Congratulations Amanda!

Amanda competed in the Open session today at the National Gymnastics Challenge, finishing third in the all-around and second on balance beam with a 9.250. Full results have been posted from the meet. Good job Amanda.

Amanda qualified to the American Classic and US Covergirl Classic after finishing second in the all-around with a 51.000 at the WOGA National Elite Qualifier this weekend in Frisco, Texas. She placed first on uneven bars with a 13.400 as well as second on vault and balance beam. Good job Amanda!

Amanda traveled to Ontario, California for the Gliders National Elite Qualifier. She finished fifth in the all-around, fifth on balance beam with a 13.100 and second on floor exercise scoring a 13.000. Good job Amanda. She will be traveling to Texas next weekend for the WOGA Elite Qualifier.

Amanda started her 2012 season today at the Ozone Invitational in Knoxville, Tennessee. She debuted many new skills to prepare for the upcoming elite qualifiers next month. Well done Amanda.

Amanda concluded her busy 2011 season today at the US Covergirl Classic in Chicago, IL. She scored a 12.7 on vault, 11.0 on uneven bars, 10.95 on balance beam and 12.7 on floor exercise. Congratulations Amanda on a great season - 2011 JO National Bars Champion and qualified to junior international elite!

Amanda will be traveling to Chicago, Illinois for the US Covergirl Classic next weekend on July 23rd which will be held at the UIC Pavilion. The junior elite division will start at 11:30 a.m and she will start the meet on uneven bars. Amanda will need a 52.5 to qualify for the VISA Championships in St. Paul, Minnesota next month. Amanda had a great meet yesterday at the Texas National Elite Qualifier in Huntsville, Texas. She placed second in the all-around with a 52.950! She placed second on uneven bars with a 13.100, third on balance beam scoring a 13.650 and fourth on floor exercise with a 13.300. She is now a junior international elite gymnast. Congratulations Amanda! She will be traveling to Chicago, IL in a few weeks to try to qualify to the VISA Championships.

Amanda traveled to Orlando, Florida for the Disney National Elite Qualifier this weekend. On Saturday, she placed fifth in the all-around with a 35.500 in the compulsories. Today in the optionals, Amanda placed fifth on both uneven bars and balance beam and qualified to junior pre-elite. Good job Amanda!

Amanda traveled to Long Beach, California this week for the Junior Olympic Nationals. She did an outstanding job today where she placed sixth with a 37.500 out of 57 gymnasts! She earned a gold medal on uneven bars with a 9.550 and placed seventh on balance beam scoring a 9.450. Congratulations Amanda! Full results have been posted from the meet.

Amanda competed at the Region VIII Championships today in Westwego, LA. She finished third in the all-around with a 37.750. She placed first on uneven bars with a 9.725 and fourth on floor exercise scoring a 9.475. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals, to be held May 14-15 in Long Beach, California. Amanda's coach, Elena Piskun was voted Georgia Coach of the Year. Congratulations Amanda and Coach Elena!

Today at the Level 10 Georgia State Championships, Amanda finished second in the all-around with a 37.775! She won a gold medal on uneven bars with a 9.425 as well as silver medals on vault, balance beam and floor exercise scoring a 9.300, 9.575 and 9.475 respectively. She has qualified to the Level 10 Regionals in Westwego, LA. Good job Amanda!

Amanda competed at the Spring Break-Out meet today. She had strong results, winning beam, floor and the all-around! Amanda also competed her Yurchenko Full for the first time. Great Job! Full results and videos have been posted from the meet.
