Andy missed last season and this season due to her struggle with right and left hamstring tears. She did not do gymnastics last winter as well as two months of the spring in an effort to heal injuries.

Andavea took about two months off from gymnastics, but she is now back in the gym. It is unknkown when her first meet of the season will be or if she will compete this season at all, but the ECG meet schedule will remain posted on the site as Andy might be able to attend at some point.

December 2, 2009
Andy went to Georgia to visit her grandparents and great grandparents over Thanksgiving. She would like to say thank you to L.A., Amaya, Lexi and Sierra. She worked out briefly at Villa Rica Gymnastics over the break. She will be back at Elite Champion Gymnastics the second week of December and is excited to train hard for 2010 season.

Andavea moved to Elite Champion Gymnastics in Plano, Texas. She will be training under the husband and wife team of Marcus and Jana Harlin. Basic information has been updated throughout the website. Andy's tentative 2010 schedule has been posted.

Andy was scheduled to compete at the US Challenge, however, Andy and her coaches decided to forgo the competition. Andy decided to rest her to prepare for the 2009-2010 season. Andy's updated schedule as well as routines will be coming later.

Andy just finished competing earlier at the 2009 July Elite Qualifier in Huntsville, Texas. She finished 27th in the all-around with a 49.300. She successfully qualified to junior pre-elite. Congratulations Andy! Her next competition will be at the 2009 US Challenge in Des Moines, Iowa. Full results have been posted.

Please make sure to update your bookmark. If you are unfamiliar with Andavea Alexander, she is a 13-years-old gymnast who trains at Triad Gymnastics Iowa. Andavea was unable to compete most of 2009 season due of an injury. She recently competed at the Parkette Elite Qualifier last weekend. She will travel to Huntsville, Texas to try to qualify to international elite. All of the content on this site is new and we hope you enjoy exploring it.
