Anna has been selected to represent the USA team at the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan on October 7-16. The USA Worlds team is Anna, Gabrielle Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Alexandra Raisman, Alicia Sacramone, Sabrina Vega and Jordyn Wieber. Congratulations Anna! Good luck to USA!

Anna concluded her 2011 season today at the VISA Championships where she finished third on uneven bars and 14th on balance beam. Good job Anna! We are working on a brand new website for Anna Li's Official Website, so be sure to come back later to check out the new design.

Anna just finished competing the first day of the VISA Championships tonight. She started her meet on uneven bars where she did a solid routine scoring a 15.050. She also competed on balance beam with a 13.850. Currently, Anna is first on uneven bars and ninth on balance beam. Good job Anna! The second day of the VISA Championships is on Saturday at 6:30 PM. Anna's third VISA Championships is starting this week in St. Paul, Minnesota! Anna will be competing on the first day of competition on Thursday, August 18 at 6:30 PM CST. She will be second person to go on uneven bars during the second rotation. The second day will be on Saturday, August 20. We will try our best to keep you updated with latest news, results and pictures from the meet. Good luck Anna!

Last night at the US Covergirl Classic in Chicago, IL, Anna competed on uneven bars where she debuted two new skills, a new release and dismount. She placed seventh scoring a 14.300 with a fall. Well done Anna. She will be competing at the VISA Championships next month in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Anna will be traveling to Chicago, Illinois for the US Covergirl Classic next weekend on July 23rd which will be held at the UIC Pavilion. The senior elite division will start at 7:00 p.m and she will start the meet on balance beam. Anna already qualified for the VISA Championships on bars and beam but to compete in the all-around at the VISA Championships, she will need a 54 in this meet. Anna traveled to Huntsville, Texas for the US National Training Camp and American Classic. At the camp, she successfully qualified to senior international elite. On July 1, she placed first on uneven bars with a 15.150 and third on balance beam scoring a 14.000. She qualified to the VISA Championships on bars and beam! Good job Anna! She will be competing at the upcoming US Covergirl Classic in Chicago, Illinois on July 23.

The Bruins have had a busy last month. Anna competed on beam only against Cal State Fullerton and Utah. Her 9.850 contributed to the team's 197.250 total. Next, the team competed at Georgia, being slightly edged out, 197.9 to 197.875. Anna placed first on bars, third on vault and second all-around. Anna skipped the next meet to allow her ankle to heal. She returned at the Pac-10 Championships, scoring a perfect ten on bars! The Bruins won the Pac-10 title for the second year in a row. Anna earned All-Pac-10 First-Team honors on vault and bars. Last night, the Bruins easily won the West Regionals. Anna took home victories on vault and bars. She also placed second on floor.

Today, Anna had a great meet against Oregon State. She started the meet off with a clean vault for a 9.850. She next hit a great bars routine for first place. She was the lead-off performer on balance beam, scoring a 9.850 for fourth. Anna ended her meet with a second-place floor routine. She totaled a 39.550 to finish second to teammate Vanessa Zamarripa. The Bruins easily defeated Oregon State, scoring their highest team score in five years. Congratulations girls!

Anna scored a career high of 9.975 on uneven bars winning the event against Stanford on Sunday. The Bruins had several mistakes that cost them the math to Stanford. UCLA will next compete against Oregon State on Sunday, February 21, at the Pauley Pavilion.

The UCLA Bruins scored a season high school en route to defeating the University of Arizona on Friday night. Anna competed on vault, bars, and beam. She placed second on vault with a 9.875. UCLA will next host Stanford on Sunday, February 14.

February 1, 2010
On January 24th, UCLA competed against Stanford. Anna took home first place finishes on bars (9.950) and in the all-around (39.575). She finished second on beam with a 9.875. Last Sunday, UCLA easily defeated Arizona State. Anna won bars, floor, and the all-around. She scored a career-high on floor! Anna also placed second on vault and beam. The top-ranked UCLA Bruins easily defeated Washington last night. Despite a few rough landings on floor, Anna tied for first all-around with a 39.175. She also took home victories on beam (9.925) and bars (9.925). Full results have been posted.

UCLA defeated Utah today in the first meet of the season! Anna finished second all-around to teammate Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs. This was Anna's first time competing all-around since 2008. Anna finished third on vault with a 9.85. She won uneven bars, scoring a 9.95! Full results have been posted.

NCAA Championships

The UCLA gymnastics team traveled to Lincoln, Nebraska for the 2009 NCAA Championships last weekend. On Thursday night, UCLA tied for third place. Unfortunately, only top three could advance to the Super Six and lost a tiebreaker to Utah for the third spot.

UCLA Qualifies to NCAA Nationals

The UCLA Bruins finished second right behind University of Florida at the NCAA North Central Regional Championships. They qualified to the NCAA Championships at the end of May. Anna finished first on uneven bars with a 9.9. Congratulations Anna!

Congratulations Anna. She was named to the 2009 Pac-10 All-Conference team on uneven bars. Anna helped the UCLA Bruins to win the Pac-10 Championships last weekend ahead of Oregon State (2nd) and Stanford (3rd). Anna placed first on uneven bars scoring 9.9. Good job Anna! The gymnastics team will travel to Iowa City, IA for the NCAA North Central Regionals in two weeks.

The UCLA Bruins continued to dominate, where they defeated both University of California and Arizona State University. During the UCLA vs California dual meet, Anna had a rough meet, where she fell on both uneven bars and balance beam. At the UCLA vs Arizona State meet, Anna finished 3rd on uneven bars with a 9.850. Today, UCLA announced that UCLA vs Stanford is cancelled due of team stricken by illness.

Last night, UCLA easily defeated Cal State Fullerton, 196.600-193.875. Anna did well on uneven bars and balance beam, where she scored 9.825 and 9.850 respectively. Good job Anna! Today No. 3 UCLA hosted No. 26 Arizona at the Pauley Pavilion. The UCLA Bruins improved their team score from previous weekend and defeated Arizona, 196.375-193.675. Anna did uneven bars, where she did an excellent routine scoring 9.875 and won the title! Good job Anna and the UCLA Bruins! UCLA Will travel to Fullerton, CA next Friday to compete in a dual meet against Cal State Fullerton. They then will host California two days later.

The UCLA gymnastics team began their 2009 season today at Utah. The Bruins lost to Utah by only .1 point (196.175 - 196.075). Anna contributed her uneven bars score, where she tied for third place scoring 9.850. Good job Anna! The UCLA Bruins will host Arizona next weekend on January 18th at 2:00 PM PT.
