Anna was walking at nine months old. When she was in preschool, her mom signed Anna up for swimming, gymnastics and soccer just to keep her busy. Anna fell in love with gymnastics and joined pre-team at a local gym in Bellevue, WA and never looked back. As a level 4 gymnast in 2011, Anna finished seventh in the all-around and fourth on balance beam at the State Championships. She moved up to level 5 in 2012 where she placed seventh in the all-around and third on balance beam. In 2013, Anna moved to Metropolitan Gymnastics in Kent, WA.
In 2014, Anna skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 where she qualified to the State Championships. She continued competing level 7 in 2015, finishing fifth in the all-around with a 37.150 and third on floor exercise at the State Championships. As a level 8 gymnast in 2016, Anna placed sixth in the all-around with a 37.200 and fourth on vault at the Region 2 Championships.
As a level 9 gymnast in 2017, Anna was unable to compete on uneven bars due to an injury but competed as a 3-event specialist all season. Anna finished second on floor exercise and fourth on vault and balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 2 Championships where she placed second on vault and balance beam. In 2018, Anna placed fifth on floor exercise at the State Championships.
Anna trains 22-37 hours per week at Metropolitan Gymnastics in Kent, WA under coaches Yulia Hancheroff, Guennadi Komissarov and Cathy Sutherland. The coaches selected Anna as a team captain three years in row. Anna's long-term goal is to compete for a college gymnastics team.
