Annamarisa "Isa" Koch is one of three siblings, sandwiched between two brothers, Kells and Aidan. Her parents, David and Carol have been married since 1989. Isa currently is attending high school at Canyon Creek Christian Academy as a senior and she will graduate in 2017. When Isa is finished with her gymnastics regimen, she is studying Russian, working out in a gym, or getting some R & R with her friends and pets.

Isa started her gymnastics at three years old while attending a birthday party. When she was four years old, she started recreational gymnastics. Within a few short weeks, she was moved to pre-team. She deepened her love for gymnastics and learned her work ethic from her earliest coaches.

Prior to optionals, Isa placed second in the all-around at the North State in level 5 and level 6. At the Level 6 State Championships, she placed fifth in the all-around.

Isa had a near clean sweep at her only level 7 meet in 2010 before moving up to level 8 rest of the season. At the State Championships, she had all-around score of 37.575 and qualified to the Region 3 Championships. She placed tenth in the all-around with a 37.950, eighth on uneven bars and ninth on floor exercise

After a great season as a level 8 gymnast in 2010, she moved up to level 9 in 2011. She placed second on uneven bars and fifth on balance beam at the State Championships. Isa earned a silver medal on uneven bars at the Region 3 Championships. As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2012, she placed fifth on balance beam at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 3 Championships.

Isa started her 2013 season strong. In her first meet, the Texas Prime Meet, she qualified for the Legendz where she earned scores of 9.500 on both the uneven bars and balance beam. At the WOGA Classic, Isa had the third best score on uneven bars and finished seventh in the all-around. She followed at Houston National Invitational with a first place finish on uneven bars, second place on balance beam and fourth in the all-around. At the Malibu Coast Challenge in California, she placed sixth in the all-around. Currently, Isa is preparing for the upcoming Region 3 Championships in Wichita, Kansas. Isa was unable to compete in 2014 and 2015 seasons due to an injury.

In 2016, Isa finished eighth in the all-around and fifth on floor exercise at the Region 3 Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Ft. Worth, TX.

Currently, Isa is preparing for the 2017 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 30 hours per week at Metroplex Gymnastics under coaches Marnie Futch and Gina Logan. Before Isa wraps up her Metroplex career she hopes to earn a college scholarship so she can continue competitive gymnastics.
