Ascha's parents enrolled her in parent tot classes at the local YMCA when she was two years old. One year later, she started taking classes at AJS Pancott in West Chester, PA. Ascha was asked to be on the competition team when she turned five years old, but she was not old enough to compete until she was six. She earned a silver medal on uneven bars at the 2012 Level 5 State Championships. At the 2013 Level 6 State Championships, she placed second on uneven bars and in the all-around with a 37.175.

As a level 7 gymnast in 2014, Ascha placed fifth on uneven bars with a 9.500 at the State Championships. She moved up to level 8 for the 2015 season where she placed second in the all-around with a 37.625 and first on uneven bars with a 9.775. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships. Ascha competed level 9 for the next three seasons. In 2016, she placed third on uneven bars at the State Championships and sixth on uneven bars at the Region 7 Championships.

In 2017, Ascha earned a gold medal on uneven bars with a 9.550 and a bronze medal in the all-around at the State Championships. She won the uneven bars title with a 9.550 at the Region 7 Championships. During Ascha's third and final level 9 season, she placed second on uneven bars with a 9.600 and third on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she finished third in the all-around with a 37.675, second on vault and fourth on uneven bars and balance beam. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Rochester, NY where she placed eighth on uneven bars and ninth on floor exercise. In 2019 as a first-year level 10 gymnast, Ascha qualified to the Region 7 Championships. In 2020, Ascha's season was cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Ascha trains 21 hours per week at AJS Pancott Gymnastics in West Chester, PA under coaches Casey Rohrbaugh and Steve Pancott. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals. Her long-term goal is to compete for a college gymnastics team.
