Austyn returned to competing today after missing the first few meets of the season due to an injury. She helped the gymnastics team to defeat Pittsburgh, 194.150-193.725. Austyn finished third on uneven bars with a 9.750. Well done Austyn.

Austyn won the all-around title with a 39.100 today, but the UNH gymnastics team was edged by No. 24 LSU, 196.000-194.350. Austyn placed third on uneven bars with a 9.775 and fourth on floor exercise scoring a 9.850. Good job Austyn!

Last week, Austyn helped the team to finish third in a four-way meet. She placed fifth in the all-aroudn with a 38.550. Last night, the UNH gymnastics team defeated the University of Bridgeport, 194.375-191.300. Austyn placed fourth on vault with a 9.775.

Yesterday, the UNH gymnastics team won the dual meet against the University of Bridgeport, 194.025-192.150. Austyn placed second in the all-around with a 38.325. She placed first on vault with a 9.850 and second on floor exercise scoring a 9.800. On January 25th, Austyn was named EAGL Gymnast of the Week. Congratulations Austyn!

Today Austyn helped the gymnastics team to beat the University of Pittsburgh, 193.750-192.650. Austyn placed second in the all-around with a 38.625 as well as second on vault (9.800), second on uneven bars (9.725) and first on floor exercise (9.825). Good job Austyn!

Today the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team was edged by Penn State University, 194.475-195.275. Austyn placed second in the all-around with a 39.025 as well as third on vault and fourth on floor exercise scoring a 9.800 on both events.

UNH gymnastics team began their 2011 season yesterday and defeated Rutgers University, 194.500-191.875. Austyn placed 4th in the all-around, third on vault with a 9.725 and first on uneven bars and floor exercise scoring a 9.825 and 9.875 respectively. Good job Austyn!

The New Hampshire gymnastics team had a "Meet the Team" competition last night to get ready for upcoming 2011 season. Austyn's schedule has been posted for 2011 season.

On March 19, the UNH gymnastics team lost to Texas Woman, 195.250-195.100. Austyn finished fourth on vault with a 9.825 and third on floor exercise scoring a 9.850. On March 27, the team finished fourth at the EAGL Championships. Austyn finished 8th on vault scoring a 9.825 and 16th on floor exercise with a 9.750. Today, the Wildcats finished fourth at the NCAA Regionals. Austyn placed 19th on vault with a 9.8 and 14th on floor exercise scoring a 9.775.

On March 7, Austyn helped the Wildcats to win in a 3-way meet with George Washington and William & Mary. Austyn finished sixth on floor exercise with a 9.8. Last Friday, the Wildcats posted impressive team score of 195.100 and defeated North Carolina State. Austyn once again scored a 9.8 on floor exercise. Good job Austyn! Austyn and the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team just finished competing earlier today. They defeated Ball State University, Utah State University and Yale University and took first place with a final team score of 195.000. Good job Wildcats!

On Saturday, 11-15-08 Austyn won the NJ HS State Championships in Gymnastics. She set State records on the BB, PB and All Around. She became the 2nd gymnast in Howell HS history to win a State Championship.

Austyn signed her National Letter of Intent to attend the University of New Hampshire today. Standing with her in the Howell High School Principle's office was her family, coach Jen Hier, Athletic Director Pete Bruno, and Principle Zina Duerbig. Congratulations Austyn!

Yesterday, 8-24-08, Austyn gave her verbal committment to the University of New Hampshire. She will attend UNH on a full gymnastics scholarship. Austyn is very excited on her decision, both academically and gymnastically. She looks forward to attending UNH and working with the coaching staff of Gail Goodspeed, Ed Datti and Lindsey Bruck. Goooo Wildcats!

This weekend, Austyn finished 9th in the all-around with a 36.675 at the Level 10 Regionals hosted by World Class Gymnastics. She placed 5th on vault, 8th on beam and floor. She missed qualifying to the JO Nationals by two spots. Full results have been posted.

Austyn competed this past weekend at the Level 10 New Jersey State Championships. She placed 6th in the all-around with a 36.000. She scored 9.45 on vault, 9.15 on bars, 8.075 on beam, and 9.325 on floor. Austyn qualified to the Level 10 Regionals where it will be in two weeks, April 26-27. It will be at the World Class Gymnastics in Newport News, VA. Austyn's schedule has been updated.
