When Bailey was three years old, she had too much of energy, so her mom decided to enroll her into gymnastics with a friend. At the beginning of the gymnastics career, she trained at Impact Athletics. Prior to the level 6 season, Bailey started training at Sonshine Gymnastics in Holly Springs, NC and has been there ever since.

As a level 6 gymnast in 2009, Bailey won the all-around title at the Sonshine Invitational and Turkey Tumble Meet. At the State Championships, she placed second in the all-around, first on balance beam and second on floor exercise.

Bailey moved up to level 7 for the 2011 season. She placed first on vault, floor exercise and in the all-around at the Brick City Wintefest. At the Pikes Peak Cup, she grabbed gold medals on vault, balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around. She placed third in the all-around and first on vault, balance beam and floor exercise at the Sweetheart Invitational. At the Pink Invitational, she finished second in the all-around and first on uneven bars. Bailey had a great meet at the State Championships, finishing first on floor exercise and second in the all-around with a 37.750. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished third on uneven bars and first on floor exercise.

In 2012, Bailey started the level 8 season at the Bull City Challenge, finishing first on uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around. At the Tiger Paw Classic, she placed first on balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around. Bailey finished first on floor exercise and in the all-around at the Jim Gault Invitational. At the Gasparilla Classic, she brought home gold medals on vault and in the all-around. Bailey finished first in the all-around with a 38.025, second on vault and uneven bars and first on balance beam at the State Championships. She concluded her season at the Region 8 Championships where she finished eighth in the all-around and sixth on vault.

As a level 9 gymnast in 2013, Bailey placed second in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the Hilton Head Island Invitational. At the Metroplex Challenge, she finished fifth in the all-around and third on balance beam. She placed third on floor exercise and in the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She did really well at the Smokey Vacation Classic, placing second in the all-around and first on balance beam and floor exercise. At the National Gymnastics Challenge, Bailey brought home gold deals on balance beam floor exercise and in the all-around. At the State Championships, she placed eighth in the all-around and sixth on vault and uneven bars, qualifying to the Region 8 Championships.

In 2014, Bailey finished first on vault, uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the USAG Sports Festival, she placed first on vault and second on uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around. She finished first on floor exercise and in the all-around at the Presidential Classic. At the Greensboro Invitational, she grabbed gold medals on vault, uneven bars and in the all-around. Bailey placed first on vault and second on uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around at the State Championships. She had a great meet at the Region 8 Championships, finishing first on uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around with a 37.200 as well as second on vault. Bailey qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Florida where she finished fifth in the all-around, third on uneven bars and fifth on vault.

Bailey moved up to level 10 for the 2015 season. She placed fourth in the all-around and second on uneven bars at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. At the Everest Classic, she earned a silver medal on uneven bars. She placed fifth on uneven bars at the Tim Rand Invitational. At the State Championships, Bailey placed sixth in the all-around and first on vault with a 9.775. She concluded her season at the Region 8 Championships, finishing 14th in the all-around and ninth on vault.

Bailey did not compete in 2016 due to an injury.

Currently, Bailey is preparing for the 2017 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 20 hours per week at Sonshine Gymnastics in Holly Springs, NC under coaches Milan and Heidi Stanovich. Bailey would like to obtain a college scholarship to a Division 1 school.
