Rebecca Pollyanna Rozsa was born on April 29, 1998 in Newport Beach, CA to Daniel and Penelope Rozsa. She has three brothers, Jeff, Scott and Jake and two sisters, Mandy and Jessy. Currently, she is a junior at Highland High School, graduating in the spring of 2016. She has a cumulative GPA of 4.0. During Becky's spare time, she enjoys boating, snowboarding and camping.
Becky's sisters were in gymnastics and she wanted to join them. She started taking recreational gymnastics classes at the age of three. She started her competitive gymnastics career at Bronco Elite Gymnastics in Idaho under coaches Brandon Payne and Lindsay Ward.
Becky won the all-around title at the 2009 Level 7 State Championships and 2010 Level 8 State Championships. As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2011, Becky finished second in the all-around and first on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 2 Championships, she placed third on uneven bars with a 9.525 and seventh in the all-around. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals where she placed tenth on uneven bars with a 9.375. Becky started training at Desert Lights Gymnastics in Arizona in the summer of 2011.
In 2012, Becky placed third in the all-around and first on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 1 Championships, she finished 12th in the all-around with a 37.000 and eighth on uneven bars scoring a 9.425. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals for the second time. She placed 12th in the all-around with a 37.000 out of 48 gymnasts. She also brought home a gold medal on uneven bars with a 9.600 and placed fifth on balance beam scoring a 9.350. Becky was injured in 2013.
Becky started her level 10 season at the 2014 Winter Sun Invitational, finishing first on floor exercise and third in the all-around. At the Classic Rock Invitational, she finished fifth in the all-around and second on uneven bars. She placed third on floor exercise at the Long Beach Open. At the Valley of the Sun Challenge, Becky finished third on floor exercise and fourth on vault. At the State Championships, she placed third in the all-around, first on balance beam and fourth on vault. She concluded her season at the Region 1 Championships, finishing 13th in the all-around and third on floor exercise. In May 2014, Becky started training at Desert Devils Gymnastics in Mesa, AZ.
In 2015, Becky placed first on uneven bars with a 9.450 at the Manhattan Classic and second on uneven bars scoring a 9.500 at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. At the California Classic, she earned a gold medal on floor exercise with a 9.500. Becky finished fourth in the all-around and second on floor exercise at the Valley of the Sun Invitational. At the State Championships, she earned gold medals on uneven bars and balance beam. Becky placed eighth in the all-around, third on uneven bars and fourth on floor exercise at the Region 1 Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic NIT in Des Moines, IA where she placed eighth in the all-around, first on uneven bars and fifth on floor exercise.
Currently, Becky is preparing for the 2016 season as a third-year level 10 gymnast. She trains 24 hours per week at Desert Devils Gymnastics under coaches Wesley Jones and Ashley Schwalb. Becky's goal is to obtain a college scholarship.
