At the age of five, Belle's mom enrolled her into gymnastics for fun. At the beginning of Belle's competitive gymnastics career, she trained at Hill's Gymnastics in Gaithersburg, Maryland where she trained under coaches Cynthia Smaha and Kelli Hill until the summer of 2013.
Belle was the 2009 Level 7 State All-Around, Balance Beam and Floor Exercise Champion and made the 2009 National TOPs Team. In 2010, Belle earned gold medals on uneven bars and floor exercise at the Level 8 State Championships. As a level 9 gymnast in 2011, Belle placed third in the all-around and second on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she finished fourth in the all-around, second on floor exercise and third on uneven bars and balance beam. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals where she placed 11th in the all-around, second on balance beam and sixth on floor exercise.
In 2012, Belle moved up to level 10. She earned gold medals on balance beam and in the all-around at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she placed fourth on balance beam. In 2013, Belle finished third on floor exercise and sixth in the all-around at the State Championships. She placed eighth on floor exercise at the Region 7 Championships. In the summer of 2013, Belle left her long-time gym and started training at Excellence Gym Sports in Frederick, Maryland. In 2014, Belle placed third in the all-around, first on uneven bars and second on floor exercise at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 7 Championships. In 2015, Belle finished seventh in the all-around and fifth on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she placed fourth on uneven bars.
Belle had a great season in 2016 where she placed first in the all-around with a 37.900, first on floor exercise, second on balance beam and third on vault and uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she finished seventh in the all-around, second on balance beam and fourth on floor exercise. Belle qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Ft. Worth, TX where she placed 25th in the all-around and ninth on floor exercise out of 56 gymnasts. Belle's season-high scores were a 9.600 on vault, 9.325 on uneven bars, 9.575 on balance beam, 9.600 on floor exercise and 38.000 in the all-around.
Currently, Belle is preparing for the 2017 season. She trains 26 hours per week at Excellence Gym Sports in Frederick, Maryland under coaches Dai Wei, Farzaneh Wlotzka and Valerie Dalton. Belle is working hard to reach her goals to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals and to compete for a college gymnastics team.
