Bridgey's second VISA Championships will begin this week! The first day of competition will be on Thursday, August 13 at 1:00 PM CST. She will be second up on balance beam during the first rotation. The second day will be on Saturday, August 15 at 1:00 PM CST. On that day, she will be seventh person to go on floor exercise during the first rotation. Bridgey will need to place in the top ten to make the Junior US National Team. Good luck Bridgey!
USA Gymnastics, International Gymnast, and Inside Gymnastics will provide live scoring, news, pictures, etc during the VISA Championships. We will do our best to keep Bridgey's website updated as soon as we get news and results.

Bridgey competed at the US Classic last night in Des Moines, Iowa. Her meet was highlighted with a great double twisting Yurchenko on vault with a 15.15. Her total all-around score was 54.950. Bridgey will be competing at the US Classic next weekend on July 25 in Des Moines, Iowa. A select of juniors (including Bridgey) will be competing in the senior session at 7:00 p.m. at the Vets Auditorium. Bridgey has already qualified for the VISA Championships in Dallas, Texas. She will use this competition as a warm up. The Universal Sports will be broadcasting the US Classic live. You can find more information by going to UniversalSports.Com.

Last Friday, the USA gymnastics team was in Rouen, France for a dual meet against France, where they defeated the French team, 229.250-219.100. Bridgey finished sixth in the all-around with a 54.600. Congratulations Bridgey! Her floor exercise video has been posted from the meet. Some new pictures have been added from last weekend's USA vs Germany.

Bridgey helped the United States defeat Germany today. She finished fifth all-around with a 55.8. She finished second on bars with a 15.05. Her other scores were beam (13.4) and floor (14.05). The team will compete against France on Friday. Full results as well as two videos have been posted from the meet.

Bridgey will be traveling to Muelheim, Germany and Rouen, France next week with the USA team of MacKenzie Caquatto, Olivia Courtney, Kytra Hunter, Mattie Larson, Corrie Lothrop, Bridget Sloan and Sabrina Vega. Last weekend at the 2009 Flip'r Invitational, Bridgey finished first in the all-around with a 37.875. She also finished second on vault witha 9.725 and first on balance beam scoring 9.675. Good job Bridgey! Full results have been posted.

Bridgey helped the United States team win at the USA vs Japan Friendship Meet tonight. She finished third all-around with a score of 55.8. Although awards were not given for the individual events, she had the highest beam score with a 14.25. She had the second highest vault score with a 14.65. Pictures, results and videos have been posted. Great Job Bridgey!

Bridgey received an international assignment this morning at the US National Training camp. She will be competing in the USA vs. Japan dual competition in Chicago, Illinois this Friday. This meet is on the same podium as the 2009 American Cup. The USA team will be Bridgey, Mackenzie Caquatto (Naperville), Kamerin Moore (Twistars) and Hallie Mossett (AOGC). Bridgey was added to the Junior US National Team. Congratulations Bridgey!

Last night, Bridgey finished second in the all-around with a 37.675 right behind Amelia Hundley from Cincinnati Gymnastics. She took three more medals on vault, uneven bars and balance beam. Good job Bridgey! Full results have been posted from the meet.
