Brooke Izzo was born on July 21, 2005 in New York to David and Florence Izzo. She has two brothers, Thomas and Michael. Currently, Brooke is a student at Northport High School and she will graduate from high school in 2023. She is a member of National Junior Honor Society and has been on Principal's List every quarter. When Brooke has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys baking, cooking and playing with her dog, Gizmo. Brooke also raised money for Cystic Fibrosis, peer tutored at her school and fundraised for service dogs for the veterans.

Brooke started gymnastics for fun when she was five years old. She fell in love with the sport and joined pre-team at a local gym. She has been training under coach Tammy Marshall her whole gymnastics career. As a level 4 gymnast in 2014, Brooke placed second in the all-around with a 37.375, first on floor exercise and second on vault. In 2015 as a level 5 gymnast, Brooke earned a silver medal on floor exercise at the State Championships. She skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2016 season. At the State Championships, she placed eighth in the all-around and fifth on floor exercise. Brooke followed her long-time coach to Infiniti Elite Gymnastics in Syosset, NY in 2016.

In 2017 as a level 8 gymnast, Brooke placed second in the all-around with a 37.600 and third on uneven bars and balance beam. She qualified to the Region 6 Championships where she placed first in the all-around with a 37.650, first on balance beam and third on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise. Brooke moved up to level 9 for the 2018 season, finishing sixth in the all-around, first on balance beam and third on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, Brooke placed first in the all-around with a 37.850, first on balance beam and second on uneven bars. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Rochester, NY where she placed 12th overall, first on balance beam and fourth on floor exercise.

Brooke moved up to level 10 for the 2019 season. She placed sixth in the all-around and third on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, she finished second in the all-around and second on floor exercise. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN where she placed eighth on floor exercise. Brooke qualified to the 2020 Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2021, Brooke placed fourth in the all-around and second on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals after finishing second in the all-around and second on uneven bars and floor exercise at the Region 6 Championships. At the Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL, Brooke finished 11th overall with a 37.800 and third on balance beam out of 57 gymnasts. In 2022, Brooke placed second in the all-around with a 37.925 and second on vault at the Level 10 State Championships. She won the all-around title at the Region 6 Championships, qualifying to the Level 10 Nationals in Mesa, AZ.

Brooke trains 25 hours per week at Infiniti Elite Gymnastics in Syosset, NY under coach Tammy Marshall. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals every year. Her long-term goal is to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
