Bryce Wilson was born on June 25, 2004 in Lake Charles, LA to TriCia Guidry and Richard Wilson. She has a sister, Bailey, a brother, Chase and a dog named Midas. Currently, Bryce is in eighth grade at University View Academy and she will graduate from high school in 2022.

Bryce started gymnastics at the age of four to follow in her siblings’ footsteps. She trained at Gymnastics Elite Training Elite in Sulphur, LA for nine years, between 2008-2017. Bryce started competing as a level 2 gymnast in 2011 where she placed second in the all-around with a 37.575 and first on floor exercise at the State Championships. Bryce moved up to level 3 in 2012, finishing first in the all-around with a 38.375 and first on all events. Bryce competed level 5 in 2013 before moving up to level 7 for the 2014 season. At the Level 7 State Championships, Bryce won the all-around title with a 38.275 and first on all events. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing 14th overall with a 37.775 and eighth on vault.

In 2015 as a level 8 gymnast, Bryce finished third in the all-around with a 37.600 and third on vault and balance beam. She had a great meet at the Region 8 Championships, finishing sixth in the all-around with a 38.275 and first on vault. Bryce moved up to level 9 for the 2016 season, finishing first in the all-around with a 37.350 and first on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, Bryce finished first in the all-around with a 37.450 and first on vault. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals, finishing 14th in the all-around with a 37.000 and third on vault. Bryce also passed hopes pre-elite compulsories at the national elite qualifier that season.

Bryce passed compulsories again for the 2017 season in hopes pre-elite. She was unable to compete in optionals due to a minor injury. She was petitioned into Region 8 Championships for level 10 where she won the vault title with a 9.475 and placed seventh on floor exercise scoring a 9.375. In the summer of 2017, Bryce moved to Pearland Elite Training Center in Pearland, TX.

In 2018, Bryce started off her season by obtaining her junior elite compulsory score at the Myrtle Beach Elite Qualifier. At the Level 10 State Championships, Bryce placed second in the all-around with a 36.750, first on floor exercise and second on vault and uneven bars. At the Region 3 Championships, she placed seventh in the all-around, third on floor exercise and fourth on vault. Bryce qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Cincinnati, OH where she finished impressive fifth in the all-around with a 37.825, third on vault and sixth on floor exercise. In 2019, Bryce won the all-around title with a 37.925, second on balance beam and third on vault and uneven bars. At the Region 3 Championships, she placed fourth on vault with a 9.725.

Bryce qualified to the 2020 Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Bryce placed sixth in the all-around, first on vault and second on floor exercise at the Level 10 State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she took home gold medals on vault and uneven bars and a silver medal in the all-around with a 38.750. This qualified Bryce to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL where she won the vault title out of 57 gymnasts!

Bryce trains 30 hours per week at Pearland Elite Training Center in Pearland, TX under coaches Tasha Beale, Nick Cedillo and Tony Pineda. Her long-term goal is to earn a gymnastics scholarship to compete for a Division I college gymnastics team.
