Celeste Field was born on November 16, 2007 in New York to Greg and Ellen Field. She has three dogs named Molly, Tucker and Georgie. Currently, Celeste is a student at Saint Anthony’s High School - Melville and she will graduate from high school in 2025. During Celeste's spare time, she enjoys photography and cooking.

Celeste took gymnastics along with dance and swim when she was four years old. She fell in love with gymnastics and joined pre-team at a local gym. Celeste competed as a level 4 gymnast in 2015 where she placed third in the all-around and first on uneven bars with a 9.600 at the State Championships. She skipped level 5 and moved up to level 6 for the 2016 season. At the State Championships, she placed second in the all-around with a 37.550 and first on uneven bars and floor exercise. Celeste followed her long-time coach to Infiniti Elite Gymnastics in Syosset, NY.

In 2017, Celeste tested out of one level 7 meet before moving up to level 8 rest of the season. She placed eighth in the all-around with a 37.075 at the State Championships. Celeste qualified to the Region 6 Championships, finishing fourth in the all-around and third on floor exercise. As a level 9 gymnast in 2018, Celeste placed first in the all-around and first on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, she finished third in the all-around and first on balance beam and floor exercise. Celeste qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Rochester, NY, finishing eighth in the all-around and first ton balance beam with a 9.525. In 2019, Celeste placed third in the all-around and third on floor exercise at the Region 6 Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals for the second time, finishing third in the all-around and third on balance beam and floor exercise.

Celeste moved up to level 10 for the 2020 season where she qualified to the State Championships. She was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Celeste placed seventh in the all-around, second on floor exercise and third on vault at the Region 7 Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL where she placed fourth on vault out of 56 gymnasts. In the summer of 2021, Celeste began training at Apex Athletics in St. James, NY. In 2022, Celeste placed fifth in the all-around and third on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, she finished third in the all-around and second on balance beam and floor exercise. Celeste qualified to the Level 10 Nationals in Mesa, AZ where she placed in the top ten on floor exercise out of 56 gymnasts.

In 2023, Celeste placed first in the all-around and second on vault and balance beam at the Region 6 Championships. She qualified to the Level 10 Nationals in Oklahoma City, OK, finishing ninth overall with a 37.925 and first on vault.

Celeste trains 25 hours per week at Apex Athletics in St. James, NY under coaches Amanda Depaola and Robert Wing. Celeste's long-term goal is to earn a Division 1 college gymnastics scholarship.
