Welcome to Christa Tanella's Official Website! Christa Tanella is a 16-year-old senior international elite gymnast training at the world renowned World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) in Plano, Texas. She started gymnastics at age of four in 1995. She started competing as a level 8 in 2003 where she placed in the top two in every competition she has competed. Christa skipped level 9 and went straight to level 10 in 2004 and 2005 until she tested as an elite in June of 2005. She placed 3rd in the all-around at the Level 10 Texas State Championships. She then placed 2nd on floor exericse on the Level 10 Regionals.
Christa moved up to international elite in 2005 where she qualified all the way to US Nationals. She finished 22nd in the all-around, 11th on floor and 13th on bars. Later that year, Christa traveled to Russia with her WOGA teammates for the Voronin Cup. She brought home two bronze medals on balance beam and floor exercise. Christa qualified to US Championships again in 2006 and 2007 where she placed 14th and 12th in the all-around respectively.
