Christa began gymnastics at the age of four in 1995. She quickly moved to the top with achieved every level with excellence. When she became a level 8 in 2003, she placed in the top two in every competition that she has competed. She was Level 8 State and Regional all-around, bars, beam, and floor champion. In 2004, Christa placed 3rd in the all-around at the Level 10 Texas State Championships. She then placed second on floor exercise at the Level 10 Regionals. Christa moved up to international elite in 2005 where she qualified all the way to the US Nationals. There, she finished 22nd in the all-around, 11th on floor and 13th on bars. Later that year, Christa traveled to Russia for the Voronin Cup. She brought home two bronze medals on balance beam and floor exercise. Christa qualified to US Championships again in 2006, 2007 and 2008 where she placed 14th, 12th, and 13th in the all-around respectively. Currently, Christa is competing for the University of Georgia gymnastics team.
