Last Friday, Christa helped the Georgia gymnastics team to defeat No. 10 LSU, 196.575-196.050. Christa placed sixth on balance beam with a 9.800. Good job Christa.

No. 10 Georgia lost to No. 6 Utah, 196.550-196.500 last night in Salt Lake City, Utah. They will travel to Auburn, Alabama next weekend to compete in a dual meet against Auburn University.

Christa and the Georgia gymnastics team traveled to Alabama to compete in a dual meet against the university of Alabama. They lost to the Crimson Tide, 195.500-196.275. Christa competed on floor exercise scoring a 9.650. They will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah next weekend to compete against the University of Utah.

January 9, 2010
Christa had her first NCAA meet today against Stanford University. She only did an exhibition on balance beam, where she did a nice front aerial to flip flop to back layout stepout and dismounted with a roundoff to back layout 2/1. Georgia defeated Stanford, 195.150 to 195.050. Next weekend, Christa and her teammates will travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama for a dual meet against Alabama University.

Christa won't be at the US Classic or the VISA Championships this year. She is moving to Georgia right before the VISA Championships, therefore she will focus on getting ready for the 2010 season with the Georgia gymnastics team. Christa's schedule for the 2009-2010 season will be coming soon.

Yesterday at the 2009 American Classic in San Diego, California, Christa finished fourth in the all-around with a 52.150. She finished second on floor exercise with a 13.800 and third on balance beam scoring 13.300. Christa did not recieve her AA score to be able to qualify to the VISA Championships. She will try to re-qualify to the VISA Championships at the 2009 US Classic in Des Moines, Iowa. Full results have been posted.

Christa and her WOGA teammates traveled to Houston National Invitational this weekend. On Friday night, Christa helped the WOGA team to win the Team Cup ahead of Texas 6 Pak and Cypress. Christa scored 9.650 on vault (video), 9.425 on uneven bars (video) and 9.675 on floor exercise (video). Good job Christa! Full results have been posted from the meet.

Christa defended her all-around title last night at the 2009 WOGA Classic. She won the floor exercise title as well as second on uneven bars scoring 13.9 on both events. Good job Christa! Christa competed earlier today at the Texas Prime Meet. She did well, finishing second in the all-around right behind Marissa Gutierrez of WGA Texans. Christa did really well on floor exercise, where she finished first scoring 9.8! Good job Christa. Full results and videos have been posted from the meet.
