This weekend, Christa and her teammates travled to Los Angeles, CA for a Tri-meet. The UGA gymnastics team won the competition with a 196.175 with UCLA second and Arizona third. Christa placed sixth on uneven bars with a 9.800 and 14th on both beam and floor. Good job Christa.

Last Monday on January 17, UGA defeated West Virginia, 196.725-192.125. Christa placed fourth on uneven bars with a 9.850 and seventh on balance beam scoring a 9.725. The Georgia gymnastics team then competed yesterday against Auburn, where UGA won with a 196.650. Christa scored a 9.8 on uneven bars, 9.775 on balance beam and 9.825 on floor exercise. Good job Christa and UGA!

Yesterday No. 6 Georgia was edged by No. 3 Utah, 195.800-195.900. Christa placed eighth on uneven bars with a 9.775 and also competed on balance beam.

UGA gymnastics team began their 2011 season today at a four-way meet in Denver, Colorado with Brigham Young University, University of Denver and Air Force Academy. Christa helped the gymnastics team to win the competition with a 195.575. Christa placed 14th on uneven bars with a 9.600, 9th on balance beam scoring a 9.575 and third on floor exercise with a 9.800. Good job Christa!
