Yesterday was the final day of competition at the VISA Championships. Christa started off on vault with a clean Yurchenko full scoring 13.85. Christa's next event was uneven bars where she performed a strong routine and scored a 14.350 for 13th place. On the next event, balance beam, Christa scored 14.4 with a clean routine and placed 13th place. The last event was floor exercise where she scored a 14.55 with a nice performance. Christa placed 14th all-around - just TWO SPOTS away from making the US National Team! Congratulations Christa for doing so well at the VISA Championships! Congratulations to Christa's teammates; Rebecca Bross, Catherine Nguyen, Christine Nguyen, and Nastia Liukin for making the US National Team.

Christa finished the first day of competition at the VISA Championships just this afternoon in St. Paul, Minnetosa. She started off on floor exercise scoring 13.600. Next event was vault where she did a Yurchenko 1/1 and scored 14.000. On uneven bars, she did really a nice routine with a score of 14.150 and is currently in 14th place. Christa hit a really nice routine on balance beam where she placed 14th place with a score of 14.3. It puts Christa 17th place in all-around. GOOD JOB CHRISTA! Christa will compete in the finals on Saturday at 1PM. CHeck back here soon for more news from the final day of competition.

Christa will be competing at her second Junior National Championships later this week in St. Paul, Minnestoa. On Thursday's preliminary competition, she will be eighth up on floor exercise. Christa will be first up on uneven bars on Saturday's finals. Both competitions will begin at 1:00 PM. Good Luck Christa!

Christa competed this past weekend at US Classic in Kansas City, MO. She placed 17th all-around, 8th on floor exercise. It qualified Christa to her second US National Championships in St. Pius, MN! Good Job Christa! Many new videos have been added from the 2006 US Classic this past weekend.

Christa competed this past weekend at AOGC Invitational in Los Angeles, California. She placed 3rd all-around and earned two bronze medals on uneven bars and floor exercise. Christa also won a silver medal on balance beam. Good job Christa! Results and videos have been added from the meet.

Last night Christa competed at her hosted gym, WOGA Classic. She showed excellent results in the new code. Christa competed against many other top gymnasts around the world including Russia, Japan, and Jamacia!

Christa showed a really nice routine on her best event, uneven bars. She placed 3rd on that event with the score of 13.400! Christa placed 8th overall.

Christa competed at Voronin Cup in Russia last Tuesday and Wednesday. She placed 13th all-around and qualified to two event finals on balance beam and floor exercise. She won two bronze medals on both events in the finals that she qualified!
