VIsa Concludes Today in Dallas // 15 AUgust 2009 |
|
|
Claire's first VISA Championships concluded today in Dallas, Texas. She did better today and improved her all-around score from 53.150 (prelims) to 55.150 (finals). She finished 17th in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise. Good job Claire at your first VISA Championships!

21st After Prelims in Dallas // 13 AUgust 2009 |
|
|
Claire just finished competing the first day of the Junior VISA Championships in Dallas, Texas. Right now, she is 21st in the all-around out of 31 gymnasts. Claire’s best performances came on vault. She did a nice Yurchenko full on vault finishing 14th with a score of 13.850. Claire finished 15th place on balance beam and 16th on floor exercise scoring a 13.6 on both events. Claire will continue her competition during the finals on Saturday at 1:00 PM CST.

Good Luck in Dallas // 9 AUgust 2009 |

Claire's first VISA Championships will begin this week! The first day of competition will be on Thursday, August 13 at 1:00 PM CST. She will be first up on vault during the first rotation. The second day will be on Saturday, August 15 at 1:00 PM CST. On that day, she will be last person to go on uneven bars during the first rotation. Claire will need to place in the top ten to make the Junior US National Team. Good luck Claire!
USA Gymnastics, International Gymnast, and Inside Gymnastics will provide live scoring, news, pictures, etc during the VISA Championships. We will do our best to keep Claire's website updated as soon as we get news and results.

Claire will be competing at the US Classic next weekend on July 25 in Des Moines, Iowa. She will be competing in the junior session at 1:00 p.m. at the Vets Auditorium. Claire has already qualified for the VISA Championships in Dallas, Texas. She will use this competition as a warm up. To find more information about this competition, please visit the USAG website.

Claire Qualifies to the VISA Championships // 5 April 2009 |

| Yesterday at the 2009 American Classic in San Diego, California, Claire finished seventh in the all-around with a 53.832. she won the floor exercise title with a 14.233 and finished fourth on uneven bars scoring 13.533. Claire qualified to the VISA Championships in Dallas, Texas. Congratulations Claire!

| Claire qualified to junior international elite with a 54.05 with a fall on floor exercise last night at the US National Training Camp. Congratulations Claire! In two weeks, Claire will be traveling to San Diego, California for the 2009 American Classic. There, Claire will try to qualify to VISA Championships in August.

| Claire will be competing in a small competition, Christmas Classic hosted by GAGE, next weekend on December 13th. She will use this competition to test her new routines for upcoming season. Claire then will travel to Texas for a training camp in January and Tampa Beach Elite Qualifier in February.

Last Friday, Claire competed at the Level 10 Oklahoma State Meet. She only did two events, but she took home the uneven bars title as well as a silver medal on balance beam.
Claire's family decided to move back to Missouri to be closer to their family and friends. Claire began training at the Great American Gymnastics Express (GAGE) in Blue Springs, MO today. She will be training under coaches Al Fong and Armine Barutyan-Fong. We updated Claire's tentative schedule. She might will go to the National Team Training Camp in May as well as National Elite Qualifier at the Texas Dreams.

Elite Testing at GAGE // 8 February 2008 |
|
|
|
Claire traveled to Kansas City, Missouri to compete at the Elite Qualifier hosted by Great American Gymnastics Express this weekend. In the optional round she scored 52.800 which fell just 0.200 below the Junior International Elite qualifying score. Her best performances came on uneven bars (13.800) and floor exercise (13.950) but a major wobble on beam restricted her score on that event. Claire will compete in Compulsaries tomorrow and will have another opportunity in Texas later in the season to earn the optional qualifying score. Congratulations Claire and good luck for tomorrow.

2nd AA at Dynamo Classic// 4 February 2008 |
|
|
|
Claire competed at the Dynamo Classic last Saturday where she placed 2nd in the all-around with a 37.525. She placed 1st on vault and uneven bars scoring 9.575 and 9.3 respectively. She also placed 2nd on balance beam and 4th on floor exercise. Videos from the meet will be coming soon. On Friday, Claire will be traveling to Kansas City, Missouri for the elite qualifier at the Dragon Invitational. Good luck Claire!

Five Medals at Folgers Invitational // 16 January 2008 |
|
|
|
Claire competed in the Folgers Invitational this past weekend in Kansas City. She had a very successful meet winning five medals including the all around! Her best performances came on floor (9.450 / 2nd), beam (9.150 / 2nd) and vault (9.075 / 1st). Her only major break came on bars when she fell on her jaeger, after catching it in the warmup. She was pleased with her competition overall especially as she was competing her planned elite routines. Congratulations on a great meet Claire! Next up, the Dynamo Classic in early February!

Claire is not going to Jewels Invitational on January 19th. Instead, she will go to the National Elite Qualifier at Dragon Invitational. It will be in Kansas City, Missouri on February 8-10. For more information about this competition, please visit DragonGymnastics.Com.

Claire competed last Saturday evening at the Trojan Invitational. She was not scored on anything and this competition was for Claire to try out a bunch of her new skills. She is working really hard to get her skills consistent for the upcoming elite qualifiers. Claire did threw her 1/1 twisting hecht! Claire's next meet is next month at Folger's Invitational in Whichita, Kansas.

Welcome to Claire's brand new official website! Claire is a 12 year old aspiring elite gymnast who trains at the famous DYNAMO GYMNASTICS in Oklahoma City. Claire's last competition was in June at the 2007 American Challenge where she finished fourth all around, took first place on uneven bars and was second on floor. Claire is now finished competing for the season and is training hard to prepare her routines for 2008.
