Welcome to the Official Website of Claire Kern! She is a level 10 gymnast from Southeastern Gymnastics in Weddington, North Carolina. She is training under coaches Ludmilla Shobe and Galina Meliakina.
In 2009, Claire won gold medals on vault, uneven bars and in the all-around at the Level 8 NC State Championships. She moved up to level 9 for the 2010 season where she placed first in the all-around, second on vault and first on uneven bars at the Level 9 Regionals. At the Level 9 Eastern Nationals, she earned a silver medal in the all-around and a bronze medal on uneven bars. As a level 10 gymnast in 2011, she qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals after placing sixth in the all-around and third on uneven bars. In 2012, Claire placed second in the all-around as well as first on vault and uneven bars at the Level 10 Regionals. This qualified Claire to her second JO Nationals, finishing ninth on vault.
Claire would like to continue her passion of gymnastics in college. This website was created for college coaches to be introduced to, stay informed of her progress, and learn more about Claire.
