Dallas Bacon was born on August 19, 2002 in Georgia to LeeRoy Bacon and Dr. Laura Bacon. She has a sister, Ferderica. Currently, Dallas is an honor student at South Aiken High School and she will graduate in 2020. She has a perfect attendance and she is in the Gifted and Talented program. During Dallas's spare time, she enjoys drawing, knitting and painting.
Dallas started gymnastics in June 2006 after her mother taught her how to do a cartwheel and roundoff. She started her gymnastics career at Aiken Gymnastics in Aiken, SC and has been there ever since. She earned gold medals on uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around with a 37.700 at the 2015 Level 6 State Championships. She was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars.
In 2016 as a level 7 gymnast, Dallas placed first in the all-around with a 37.550, first on uneven bars and floor exercise. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing eighth in the all-around with a 37.275 and fifth on uneven bars. She was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars again. Dallas moved up to level 8 for the 2017 season where she placed third in the all-around and first on uneven bars with a 9.550 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships.
As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2018, Dallas placed fifth in the all-around, first on uneven bars and third on floor exercise. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships. In 2019, Dallas placed first on floor exercise and third in the all-around at the Level 9 State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished seventh in the all-around and first on uneven bars. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals again where she placed 11th in the all-around, second on floor exercise and eighth on uneven bars.
Dallas trains 20 hours per week atAiken Gymnastics in Aiken, SC under coaches Draha Krizova and Sabina Jokulis. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals. Her long-term goal is to obtain a college gymnastics scholarship.
