Danielle followed her older sister into gymnastics when she was five years old. She has been training at Classic Gymnastics her whole gymnastics career. At the beginning of her career, she trained under coaches Kari Vaughn, Will Vaughn and Melinda D’tayo.
As a level 7 gymnast in 2010, Danielle finished fifth on vault with a 9.275 at the State Championships. In 2012, she won the vault title with a 9.400 at the Level 8 State Championships. She qualified to the Region 4 Championships where she placed eighth in the all-around and seventh on vault. She continued competing level 8 in 2013 where she placed second on vault with a 9.425 and eighth in the all-around at the State Championships, qualifying to the Region 4 Championships.
Danielle moved up to level 9 for the 2014 season. She placed fifth on vault with a 9.225 at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 4 Championships. She continued competing level 9 in 2015 where she placed fourth on vault and ninth in the all-around at the State Championships. At the Region 4 Championships, Dani placed sixth in the all-around and fifth on floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Spokane, WA where she placed 15th in the all-around and ninth on uneven bars. As a third-year level 9 gymnast in 2016, Danielle finished third on floor exercise and fourth on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 4 Championships, she placed fourth int he all-around and third on floor exercise. Danielle qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Montana.
As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2017, Danielle finished fourth on vault at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 4 Championships as a specialist.
Currently, Danielle is preparing for the 2018 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 20 hours per week at Classic Gymnastics in Chanhassen, MN under coaches Bryon Hough and Charise Schrupp. Danielle is working hard to reach her goals to become a successful level 10 gymnast and to compete for a college gymnastics team.
