Desi began gymnastics when she was three years old and quickly moved through the levels. Before moving to Airborne Gymnastics, Desi used to train at West Valley Gymnastics and Almaden Valley Gymnastics. Desi's most recent major achievement was finishing fifth overall at the 2008 Junior Olympic Nationals. She also qualified to the 2008 Junior VISA Championships. Currently, Desi is training hard for the 2010 elite season with Justin Howell & Liz Crandall.
