At the age of six, Destinee went to a Kids Club for fun. They suggested that Destinee should try out at Naydenov Gymnastics. There, she began her gymnastics career under coaches Amy Railsback, Ivan and Sam. Nearly one year later, Destinee began competing as a level 4 gymnast in 2005. Destinee won the vault title at the Mac Open. At the Emerald Team Challenge, she finished third in the all-around, first on balance beam and second on floor exercise. Destinee then won the all-around and vault titles at the Shamrock Invitational. At the Teddy Bear Classic, she finished first in the all-around, vault, balance beam and floor exercise. She placed third in the all-around and first on vault, balance beam and floor exercise at the Dawg Pound Invitational. At the Northern Star Invitational, Destinee placed second in the all-around and first on vault. She then won the Level 4 Sectionals and finished third in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the Level 4 State Championships.

By December of 2005, Destinee was competing level seven. In January of 2006, she finished seventh in the all-around and third on balance beam at the Gymnastics in Paradise meet. At the All American Invitational, she finished fourth on vault. She won a silver medal on balance beam at the Hard Rock Invitational. At the Emerald Team Challenge, she finished third on vault and fourth on floor exercise. Destinee finished seventh overall at the Level 7 State Championships.

She repeated level seven in 2007. In December of 2006, she won uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and the all-around at the NAWGJ try-out meet. She earned the Judges Award on both uneven bars and floor exercise. She also received the Key Cannedy Award. In January, she won vault, floor exercise and the all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. At the San Diego Classic, she won balance beam and the all-around. She won floor exercise at the SPU meet. At the Great West Gym Fest, she won uneven bars, floor exercise and the all-around. Destinee then won vault, uneven bars, floor exercise and the all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. At the Level 7 State Championships, she won vault, floor exercise and the all-around with a 38.475. Destinee concluded her 2007 season at the Region II Invitational, where she placed first in the all-around as well as first on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise.

Destinee moved up to level eight in 2008. In December of 2007, she won vault, uneven bars, floor exercise and the all-around at the Holiday Express. She earned the Judges Award on uneven bars and she also received the Key Cannedy Award. In January, she finished second in the all-around and won vault and uneven bars at the Gymnastics in Paradise meet. She won finished first in the all-around, uneven bars and balance beam at the Vegas Cup. At the Great West Gymfest, she won uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and the all-around. Destinee then finished third in the all-around and first on balance beam at the Battle in Seattle. At the Emerald Team Challenge, she won uneven bars, balance beam and the all-around. Destinee finished third overall and first on vault and uneven bars at the Level 8 State Championships. At the Level 8 Regional Championships, she won uneven bars and the all-around. She, along with top six gymnasts from Washington, competed in a special state competition where Destinee earned a perfect ten on bars!

In December of 2008, she competed her first and only level nine meet where she won vault, uneven bars and the all-around at the Holiday Express. She began competing as a level ten gymnast in 2009. She swept the gold medals at the All-American Invitational. She finished second on vault at the Great West Gymfest. Destinee traveled to Dallas, Texas for the Metroplex Challenge. There, she qualified to hopes pre-elite. At the Emerald Team Challenge, she won the balance beam title and placed third in the all-around. Destinee competed at the American Challenge instead of the Level 10 State Championships. There, she finished third in the all-around and won both vault and uneven bars titles. At the Level 10 Regional Championships, she finished second in the all-around and third on uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. She qualified to her first Junior Olympic National Championships in Seattle, Washington. In July of 2010, Destinee traveled to Des Moines, Iowa for the US Challenge, where she finished sixth overall and won both vault and floor exercise titles. In December, Destinee was named to the USA National team Training Squad. The members of this prestigious squad receive invitations to training camps at the National Team Training Center.

In 2009-2010 season, Destinee finished second in the all-around and first on vault and floor exercise at the Holiday Express. At the Level 10 Regional Championships, she placed second in the all-around and first on vault and uneven bars. There, she qualified to her second Junior Olympic Nationals in Dallas, Texas. At the JO Nationals, she finished 19th in the all-around and fifth on vault out of 59 gymnasts. At the beginning of 2011 season, Destinee moved to MAC Gymnastics. Destinee won the all-around title at the Level 10 Regionals and qualified to the JO Nationals for the third time. Sadly, she was unable to compete the rest of the season due to an injury.

Currently, Destinee is training at MAC Gymnastics under coaches Meg Doxtator and Ivan Alexov. Destinee is preparing for the upcoming 2012 season. Destinee dreams of traveling the world as an elite gymnast and representing the United States National Gymnastics Team at the 2016 Olympic Games.

Destinee Brieonna Davis was born on June 3, 1998. She comes from a large family of six! Her family is her parents - Rob and Terri, three siblings - Alisha, Joshua and Deven and two dogs - Precious and Cujo. Currently, Destinee is in eighth grade at Home Connection. During her spare time, she likes to watch television, playing Sims 3 on the computer and riding her bike.
