Emalee Frost was born on October 3, 2003 in Virginia to Scott and Christine Frost. She has a brother, Camden and a dog named Sid. Emalee is an honor student at Centennial High School and she will graduate from high school in 2022. She currently maintains a 3.9 GPA and earned Excellence awards the last four years. When she has time outside gymnastics, she enjoys drawing, painting, writing, baking and cooking.

Emalee's parents put two-year-old Emalee in gymnastics at a local gym because she was climbing everything inside and out! She was able to start working on all four events when she first started. Emalee fell in love with the sport and falls in love with it more everyday. Emalee joined Let it Shine Gymnastics two years later. She started competing level 4 in 2012. At the 2013 Level 4 State Championships, she finished second in the all-around with a 38.225, first on floor exercise and second on uneven bars. She moved up to level 5 for the 2014 season where she finished second in the all-around, first on floor exercise and second on vault.

Emalee tested out of level 6 and moved up to level 7 for the 2016 season. At the State Championships, she finished fourth in the all-around with a 37.450, first on balance beam and second on uneven bars. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships where she placed 12th overall with a 37.075, seventh on balance beam and eighth on uneven bars. Emalee moved up to level 8 for the 2017 season. At the State Championships, she earned a silver medal on floor exercise with a 9.375. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished 11th overall and eighth on vault.

In 2018 as a first-year level 9 gymnast, Emalee placed fifth in the all-around and second on balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships. In 2019, Emalee placed fifth in the all-around and second on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished seventh in the all-around and first on uneven bars with a 9.750! She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Kissimmee, FL where she took home a silver medal on floor exercise with a 9.600.

Emalee moved up to level 10 for the 2020 season. She qualified to the State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Emalee trains 22 hours per week at Let it Shine Gymnastics in Franklin, TN under coach Matt Baker. She is working hard to become a successful level 10 gymnast. Her long-term goal is to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
