Emily placed tenth in the all-around with a 37.225 and seventh on floor exercise with a 9.625 at the 2011 Level 7 State Championships. She moved up to level 8 in 2012 where she placed 14th in the all-around with a 37.150 at the State Championships and qualified to Regionals.
In 2013, Emily competed first-year level 9 and placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.100 and third on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, Emily finished 14th in the all-around and fifth on balance beam, qualifying to the Level 9 Western Nationals. Emily continued competing level in 2014. She placed seventh in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she finished fifth in the all-around with a 37.075 and third on uneven bars. This qualified Emily to the Level 9 Western Nationals for the second time.
As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2015, Emily finished in the top ten in the all-around and sixth on balance beam at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 3 Championships. In 2016, Emily finished in the top ten in the all-around at the Region 3 Championships.
Currently, Emily is preparing for the 2017 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 24-27 hours per week at Aerial Athletics in Texas under coaches Steve Arkell, Sharon Bunch and Gaby Avilez-Dunbar. Emily would like to continue her gymnastics journey at the collegiate level.
