Erin Figurelli was born on April 5, 2001 in Connecticut to John and Jennifer Figurelli. She has an older brother, Gavin and a twin sister, Kyra. When Erin has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys field hockey, rollerblading, swimming, snowboarding and playing the ukulele. Currently, Erin is an honor student at Haddam-Killingworth High School and she will graduate from high school in 2019. Some of her school achievements and community services include:

Erin's parents enrolled Erin and her twin sister, Kyra into recreational gymnastics when they were two years old. They began their competitive gymnastics career at Campbellā€™s Gymnastic in Clinton, CT where they trained under coach Earl Campbell. Following their 2016 level 8 season, they moved to Patti Dunnes School of Gymnastics in Hebron, CT.

As a level 7 gymnast in 2014, Erin finished fifth in the all-around with a 36.525 and second on balance beam at the State Championships. She moved up to level 8 for the 2015 season where she placed fourth in the all-around and first on uneven bars at the State Championships. Erin continued competing level 8 in 2016. She finished first in the all-around with a 36.475, first on uneven bars and second on balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. Erin qualified to the Region 6 Championships, finishing fourth in the all-around and fourth on uneven bars.

Erin moved up to level 9 for the 2017 season. At the State Championships, she placed fifth in the all-around and third on uneven bars and floor exercise. Erin finished sixth in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise at the Region 6 Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Lansing, MI where she placed eighth on floor exercise.

Currently, Erin is preparing for the 2018 season as a level 9/10 gymnast. She trains 17 hours per week at Patti Dunnes School of Gymnastics in Hebron, CT under coach Matt Dunne. Erin's long-term goal is to compete for a college gymnastics team.
