Gianna Graver was born on August 20, 2002 in Long Island, NY to Patricia Vissichelli and Ross Graver. She has two brothers, a sister, a dog and a cat. Currently, Gianna is an honor student at Northport High School and she will graduate from high school in 2020.

Gianna's parents enrolled her into gymnastics for fun at the age of three. She fell in love with the sport and joined pre-team at a local gym. She has been training under coach Tammy Marshall her whole gymnastics career. As a level 6 gymnast in 2013, Gianna finished fourth in the all-around, second on uneven bars and fourth on floor exercise at the State Championships.

Gianna tested out of level 7 and quickly moved up to level 8 for the 2014 season. At the State Championships, she placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.500. She qualified to the Region 6 Championships, finishing eighth in the all-around with a 37.250 and fourth on balance beam and floor exercise. Gianna moved up to level 9 in 2015. At the State Championships, she placed second in the all-around with a 37.325, second on vault and balance beam and third on uneven bars. She did really well at the Region 6 Championships where she finished second in the all-around with a 37.700, first on balance beam and fourth on vault. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals, finishing seventh in the all-around, second on balance beam and fifth on uneven bars.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2016, Gianna placed seventh on vault and balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, she finished first in the all-around with a 37.375 and first on uneven bars and balance beam. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Ft. Worth, TX. In 2017, Gianna placed eighth in the all-around and sixth on balance beam at the State Championships. She was named the first alternate for the Junior Olympic Nationals after finishing eighth in the all-around and fifth on balance beam at the Region 6 Championships.

Gianna trains 23 hours per week at Infiniti Elite Gymnastics in Syosset, NY under coach Tammy Marshall. Gianna is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals the next few years and to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
