Keara is in Long Beach, California for the Junior Olympic Nationals this week. Today she concluded her 2011 season where she placed seventh on balance beam with a 9.475 out of 57 gymnasts. Well done Keara! Full results have been posted from the meet.
Regional AA Champion

Last night at the Region III Championships, Keara won the all-around title with a 38.200! She won a gold medal on balance beam with a 9.725 and bronze medals on uneven bars and floor exercise scoring a 9.450 and 9.525 respectively. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals, to be held May 14-15 in Long Beach, California. Keara is now 6-time JO National Qualifier and 4-time Level 10 Regional Champion. Congratulations Keara!

Keara won the all-around title today at the Level 10 Oklahoma State Championships. She won gold medals on uneven bars and balance beam scoring a 9.475 and 9.600 respectively. She has qualified to the Level 10 Regionals in Plano, Texas on April 15-16. Congratulations Keara!

Keara competed in the event finals at the Pink Ribbon Invitational in Kansas City, MO today. She won gold medals on both uneven bars and balance beam scoring a 9.650 and 9.875 respectively. Good job Keara!

Keara had another awesome meet last night at the Dynamo Classic. She won the all-around title with a 37.975. She placed first on floor exercise with 9.400, second on uneven bars scoring a 9.475 and third on vault with a 9.550. She also placed fourth on balance beam scoring a 9.550. Good job Keara!

Today Keara did an outstanding job at the Metroplex Challenge in Dallas, Texas, where she won the all-around title with a 38.025! She placed first on floor exercise with a 9.650, second on vault scoring a 9.600 and third on uneven bars and balance beam with a 9.425 and 9.350 respectively. Congratulations Keara! Keara also helped Dynamo to win the team title in her session.

Keara has verbally committed to Auburn University for 2012-2013 school year. She is five-time Junior Olympic National Qualifier, three-time Regional Champion and four-time State Champion consecutive seasons. Keara traveled to Rio Rancho, New Mexico yesterday for the Level 10 Regional Championships. She did an outstanding job, where she won the all-around title with a 38.0! She also won gold medals on uneven bars and balance beam scoring a 9.475 and 9.600 respectively. Keara is now 5-time JO National Qualifier and 3-time Level 10 Regional Champion. She won the all-around title with a 38.175, the highest score of all level 10s. She won three gold medals on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise scoring 9.6, 9.5 and 9.6 respectively. Earlier today, Keara competed at the Folger's New Year Invitational in Andover, Kansas. The Dynamo team won the team competition. Keara did really well, placing first on everything. Keara is in Kissimmee, Florida for 2008 Junior Olympic Nationals. She competed earlier today in Junior B session along with 54 other gymnasts. Keara finished 28th in the all-around. She had a rough start on floor exercise where she scored a 8.225. Keara then finished strong on next three events. On vault, she placed 11th scoring 9.500. She then won a silver medal on uneven bars with a 9.575 and finished 12th on balance beam. Full results have been posted.

This past weekend, Keara traveled to Olathe, Kansas to compete in the 2008 Pink Ribbon Invitational hosted by Kansas Gymnastics, Dance, & Cheer. On Friday, Keara did really well, placing 1st in the all-around with a 38.025! She placed 2nd on vault, 1st on uneven bars, 2nd on balance beam, and 1st on floor exercise. On Saturday, Keara competed on uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise during the finals. She placed 1st on uneven bars scoring 9.750. Keara and her Dynamo teammates traveled to Mason, Ohio for the 2007 Junior Olympic Nationals. Keara and teammate Claire Boyce competed in Junior A session. Keara is still injured but choose to compete anyway. Keara had a fall on balance beam but did really well overall by placing 16th in the all-around, 22 places higher than last year! She placed top 10 in 3 out of 4 events, which is surprising because Kea didn't go back to full training and landings till Wednesday! Good job Keara! Full results have been posted.

Keara just finished competing at the Dynamo Classic today. She won the all-around title! Keara started off on the floor exercise where she showed a brand new routine. She scored 9.700 for a first place. She then did a Yurchenko full and once again scored 9.700 for a second place. Keara gave a good routine on the uneven bars and placed first. Keara fell on her dismount on her last event, balance beam. She finished fifth on that event. Full results from the meet have been added.
4 Medals at Krafft; 2nd AA at Elite Qualifier

Keara has been very busy this past weekend! On the Saturday evening, Keara competed at the Krafft Invitational in Tulsa, OK. She won the all-around title. She also earned three bronze medals on vault, beam, and floor! On the next day, Keara traveled to Coppell, Texas for the Region 3 Elite Regional Qualifier. She placed 2nd all-around out of 23 gymnasts. Which means that Keara has qualified to the compulsory! Three of her teammates have qualified as well! Congratulations to Keara, Victoria Vaughn, Claire Boyce, and Dare Maxwell.

Keara competed last weekend at the Jewels Invitational in Overland Park, Kansas. Trying out some new skills and routines, Keara placed first on vault and uneven bars. She also placed third on balance beam and floor exercise. She will be competing this weekend at Krafft's Invitational on Saturday evening in the 10 Open session. Keara then will do an elite compulsory on Sunday at Texas Dreams. Full results have been posted from the meet.

Keara competed this weekend at her first Junior Olympic Nationals in Oklahoma City, OK. She started on vault and scored 9.325 with 19th place. Keara had a rough time on uneven bars - felling twice.
