Grace had too much energy and her mom did not want Grace jumping on the couch, so her mom enrolled her into a parent and tot class when she was 18 months old at CSA Kids Sports Arts Campus in Janesville, WI. She fell in love with the sport and never looked back. Grace competed level 4 in 2009, level 5 in 2011 and level 6 in 2012 and 2014. At the 2014 State Championships, Grace finished third in the all-around and first on vault.
Grace competed AAU in 2012 where she was the AAU National Champion on vault. As a level 7 gymnast in 2015, Grace finished third in the all-around, second on uneven bars and third on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. She moved up to level 8 for the 2017 season. She placed second in the all-around, first on vault and second on balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 4 Championships, finishing fourth in the all-around and fifth on vault. Grace competed as a level 9 gymnast in 2018 where she placed fourth on uneven bars at the State Championships. As a level 10 gymnast in 2019, Grace placed sixth on uneven bars at the State Championships.
Grace trains 16-20 hours per week at CSA Kids Sports Arts Campus under coach Jessica Alf. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals the next few years. Her long-term goal is to compete for a college gymnastics team. Grace began college visits in the fall of 2018, enjoying unofficial visits on the east coast.
