Grace is an honor student at Saint John Vianney High School and she will graduate in 2020. When Grace has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys playing guitar, basketball, biking, hiking and paddleboarding.
Grace's mom was a gymnast and her parents knew that Grace would be a gymnast when she rolled over at three weeks old and had visible calf muscles when bouncing in her exer-saucer. As soon as Grace could walk, she was enrolled in Mommy and Me classes.
As a level 5 gymnast in 2010, Grace finished fourth in the all-around and fifth on floor exercise at the State Championships. She tested out of level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2012 season. She placed third in the all-around with a 37.950, first on floor exercise and second on balance beam. Grace moved up to level 8 for the 2014 season where she qualified to State Championships at the first meet but was unable to compete rest of the season due to an injury.
Grace moved up to level 9 for the 2016 season. She placed in the top ten in the all-around at the Region 7 Championships, naming second alternate for the Level 9 Eastern Nationals. Following her 2016 season, Grace moved to Head Over Heels Gymnastics in Parlin, NJ. Grace continued competing level 9 in 2017. She placed first in the all-around with a 37.150 and fifth on floor exercise at the Region 7 Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Lansing, MI where she placed eighth on uneven bars.
Grace trains 21 hours per week at Head Over Heels Gymnastics in Parlin, NJ under coaches Toni Borden, Sonny Smoljan and Zulieta Smoljan. Grace is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals and to compete for a college gymnastics team.
