Hadyn Crossen was born on August 16, 2000 in Indiana to Kirk and Amy Crossen. She has two sisters, Paige and Alyssa and a dog named Mindi. Currently, Hadyn is a junior at Carmel High School and she will graduate in 2019. When Hadyn has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys cooking, camping, hanging out with her friends and sisters and playing board games.

Hadyn began gymnastics at the age of two because her parents wanted Hadyn to learn to enjoy sports, meet new friends and stay active. She began competing for DeVeau’s School of Gymnastics where she trained under coaches Dave Stiles, Amy Repogle, Don Gibson and Tom Strange. Following her level 8 season in 2013, she moved to Jaycie Phelps Athletic Center to train under coaches Jaycie Phelps Marus, and Dave Marus.

As a level 9 gymnast in 2013, Hadyn won the all-around title with a 38.475 at the Region 5 Championships. She also earned gold medals on uneven bars and balance beam and a silver medal on vault. Hadyn qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals where she placed first in the all-around with a 37.725, first on vault and balance beam and second on floor exercise.

Hadyn moved up to level 10 for the 2014 season. She placed second in the all-around with a 37.350 and third on vault, uneven bars and balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships. Hadyn only competed in two meets in 2015 due to an injury. She came back strong in 2016 where she finished sixth in the all-around with a 36.850 and third on uneven bars. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Ft. Worth, TX, finishing 19th overall, fifth on floor exercise and tenth on uneven bars.

In 2017, Hadyn finished second on uneven bars at the Metroplex Challenge and second on balance beam at the Presidential Classic. At the JPAC Midwest Showdown, she placed fifth in the all-around with a 37.950 and fourth on uneven bars and balance beam. Hadyn qualified to the Region 5 Championships.

Currently, Hadyn is preparing for the 2018 season where she hopes to qualify to the JO Nationals again. She trains 24 hours each week at Jaycie Phelps Athletic Center in Indiana under coaches Jaycie Phelps Marus and Dave Marus. Hadyn's long-term goal is to obtain a DI college gymnastics scholarship.
