Hailey's parents were gymnasts, so she naturally got enrolled into gymnastics for fun when she was five years old at a local gym. She fell in love with the sport and began her competitive gymnastics career at Solid Rock Gymnastics when she turned eight years old.

As a level 7 gymnast in 2016, Hailey placed fourth in the all-around and second on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. She was invited to attend the Developmental Camp at the US National Training Center. Hailey moved up to level 8 for the next two seasons. She placed third in the all-around and second on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships and fifth in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise at the Region 4 Championships. In 2019 as a level 9 gymnast, Hailey placed second on floor exercise at the State Championships and Region 4 Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Spokane, WA after finishing sixth overall at Regionals. In 2020, Hailey qualified to the Level 9 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

When Hailey isn't busy training over 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys reading and arts & crafts. She is an honor student at Lincoln Southwest High School and she will graduate in 2023.
