Haven Julia Lanzador was born on March 9, 1999 to Alan and Jennifer Lanzador in Westerville, Ohio. She has an older brother, Noah and a younger sister, Romi and a Maltipoo named Lucy. Haven's brother, Noah is the drummer for No Dice. Haven is in the 2017 class at Westerville North High School in Westerville Ohio. She is a straight "A" student and is enrolled in several Honors classes.

At the age of five, Haven began at a recreational class but was pulled out after the first week to try out for the "Bucks-to-Be" pre-team. She has been training at Buckeye Gymnastics most of her gymnastics career.

In 2007, Haven competed as a level 5 gymnast. She placed second in the all-around at the Super Challenge. At the Level 5 State Championships, she placed first on uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around. At the Fall State Championships, she finished second in the all-around as well as first on uneven bars and balance beam. She continued competing level 5 in 2008. Haven won uneven bars, balance beam and the all-around at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. At the Fiesta Bowl Invitational, she swept the gold medals. Haven won the uneven bars title at the Buckeye Classic. At the Luau in Leos Invitational, Haven won all five gold medals. She ended her 2008 season winning vault, uneven bars, balance beam and the all-around at the Level 5 State Championship. In the fall, Haven made the National TOPs Team.

Haven moved up to level 7 for the 2008-2009 season. At the Region 5 Cup, she won the all-around as well as first on balance beam and third on uneven bars. She placed first on balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around at the Universal Galaxy. Haven placed first on uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. At the Buckeye Classic, she won uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and the all-around. Haven placed first on floor exercise and in the all-around at the Level 7 State Championships. She made her second National TOPs Team later that year.

In 2010, Haven competed as a level 8 gymnast. She won vault, balance beam and the all-around at the Universal Galaxy meet. Haven won the balance beam title at the For Love or Money meet. At the Level 8 State Championships, she won the uneven bars and balance beam titles. There, she qualified to the Level 8 Regionals, where she finished third in the all-around as well as second on balance beam. Following the level 8 season, Haven qualified to hopes pre-elite. At the US Challenge in Chicago, IL, she finished second on balance beam and third on uneven bars.

Haven began her 2011 season at the Universal Galaxy where she placed second in the all-around and first on balance beam. At the Buckeye Classic, she placed fourth in the all-around and first on uneven bars. At the same meet, Haven passed the compulsories, a portion of elite testing with a 36.050. Haven placed first on uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around at the Arnold Classic. She went on to compete in the finals on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise where she brought home the silver on uneven bars and floor exercise. Haven won the balance beam title at the Level 9 State Championships and qualified to the Level 9 Regionals. After her level 9 season concluded, she competed in two different elite qualifiers.

In 2012, Haven started her season at the Coaches Spectacular, finishing first on uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around. At the Circle of Stars, she finished fourth in the all-around and first on balance beam. Haven easily passed compulsories at the Buckeye Elite Qualifier with a 37.000. On the next day in the level 9 session, she earned gold medals on balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around. At the Arnold Gymnastics Challenge, she finished first on uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around. Haven became Level 9 Ohio State Balance Beam, Floor Exercise and All-Around Champion. At the Level 9 Regionals, she finished sixth in the all-around and second on floor exercise, qualifying to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Landover, Maryland. At the Nationals, she placed 17th in the all-around.

Haven's 2013 and 2014 season were cut short due to an injury in 2013 and mono in 2014, but she did qualify to Regionals each year. In 2015, Haven placed second on uneven bars and balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 5 Championships, she finished sixth on balance beam.

In 2016, Haven finished second in the all-around with a 37.125 and first on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 5 Championships, she placed 11th in the all-around and seventh on floor exercise.

Currently, Haven is training for the upcoming 2017 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains about 20 hours per week at Buckeye Gymnastics under coaches Kittia Carpenter, Fernando Villa and Li Li. Haven maintains a 4.0 GPA and would like to obtain a college scholarship to study Marine Sciences.
