When Heather was three years old, her mom was trying to find a way to take the energy out of her. She used to do forward rolls off her couch until she was blue in the face! Therefore, Heather's mom put her into gymnastics classes at Salto Gymnastics. She trained under coach Jim Chudy until she moved to M&M Gymnastics after her 2007 season.

Prior to M&M Gymnastics, she finished fourth in the all-around and second on vault at the 2006 IGI Chicago Style. At the Level 9 Regionals, she placed 13th in the all-around, third on vault and second on balance beam. She moved up to level 10 in 2007. She won the bronze medal in the all-around at the Twistars Invitational. At the Level 10 Regionals, she finished second in the all-around and first on uneven bars. There, she qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Ohio. At the JO Nationals, she finished 34th in the all-around.

After Heather's 2007 season, she moved to M&M Gymnastics to train under Andy and Jeanelle Memmel. She was injured most of the 2008 season. She won the all-around title at the Elite Qualifier Optionals in December of 2008. She then placed third in the all-around and won uneven bars at the Hamline Spirit Invitational.

In 2009, Heather finished second in the all-around and first on vault and floor exercise at the Midwest Challenge. At the Metroplex Challenge, she finished 11th in the all-around and narrowly missed making the junior international elite status. However, she qualified to junior pre-elite. At the Level 10 State Championships, she won the bronze medal in the all-around and first on uneven bars. Heather qualified to her second Junior Olympic Nationals after placing seventh in the all-around and second on uneven bars at the Level 10 Regional Championships. At the JO Nationals in Washington, she placed 48th overall. In July, Heather finished third in the all-around as well as second on vault and uneven bars at the US Covergirl Classic in Des Moines, Iowa.

In 2010, Heather finished 8th in the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational in Orlando, Florida. She then traveled to Dallas, Texas for the Metroplex Challenge, where she finished 9th in the all-around and fifth on vault. At the All Olympia Invitational in California, Heather placed 8th in the all-around as well as fourth on balance beam and third on floor exercise. She finished fifth in the all-around at the Buckeye Classic in Ohio. She then won the all-around title as well as first on balance beam and floor exercise at the Harley Davidson Invitational. At the Level 10 State Championships, Heather finished fifth in the all-around, first on vault and second on balance beam. Heather won the all-around title at the Level 10 Regional Championships. She also won gold medals on uneven bars and balance beam. There, there, she qualified to her third JO Nationals in Dallas, Texas. At the JO Nationals, she finished 37th in the all-around and 11th on balance beam.

Heather started her 2011 season at the Team Spirit Invitational finishing second in the all-around and first on uneven bars and floor exercise. She placed fourth on floor exercise at the Circle of Stars and third on vault at the WD Classic. At the Northern Lights Classic in Minnesota, she placed tenth overall and seventh on floor exercise. Heather placed fifth in the all-around and third on balance beam at the Level 10 State Championships. At the Level 10 Regionals, she won silver medals on vault, floor exercise and in the all-around. There, she qualified to the JO Nationals for fourth time. At the JO Nationals, she placed 29th in the all-around and eighth on balance beam.

In 2012, Heather finished fourth in the all-around and second on vault at the Salto Invitational. At the Oshkosh Invitational, she placed second on vault and fourth on floor exercise. She earned gold medals on vault, balance beam and in the all-around at the State Championships. At the Level 10 Regionals, she finished fifth in the all-around, fourth on vault and third on balance beam. Heather qualified to the JO Nationals in hampton, VA where she finished 20th in the all-around and third on balance beam.

Currently, Heather trains 18+ hours per week at Salto Gymnastics under coaches James Melcarek & Kristen Kremer. Currently, she is preparing for the upcoming 2013 season as a NCAA gymnast. Heather is looking forward to join the University of Illinois gymnastics team during the 2012-2013 school year.

Heather Foley was born on August 15, 1994 in Brookfield, WI. She is the youngest of two children to Marie and Dave. Currently, Heather is in 12th grade at Waukesha North High School.
