Isabella always loved to flip and test herself to see how many cartwheels she could do at one time. At the time, Isabella danced at a local studio but her parents decided to put her in gymnastics to try and see if she would like it. The rest is history! Isabella started at Gold Medal Gymnastics Center in Huntington, NY as a silver star at the age of four. She quickly advanced on to mini-team, where she had her first mock meet at the age of five. She placed fourth on floor exercise at the 2017 Level 4 State Championships at the age of eight.
As a level 5 gymnast in 2018, Isabella placed third in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the State Championships. She skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2019 season. At the State Championships, Isabella placed second in the all-around, first on uneven bars and third on vault. She qualified to the Region 6 Championships, finishing 14th overall. In 2020, Isabella qualified to the Level 8 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.
When Isabella is not training 29 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys swimming, painting and spending time with her friends. She currently lives in New York with her parents, Olga and Henry, a sister, Chloe and a dog named Jerry.
