Isabelle Lee is a senior at Bromfield High School. The school is ranked #14 of top public schools in Massachusetts and #276 nationally. Isabelle has a 4.3 weighted GPA and is taking honors and AP classes including Honors English, Honors Pre-Calc, Honors French IV, AP Psych and AP Chemistry. Isabelle is a member of National Honor Society, French National Honor Society, Bromfield Cares, was a participant in World of Youth Congress, participated in a service trip to Ecuador in February 2015 with Me to We and coaches pre-team gymnastics at 10.0 Academy.
Isabelle's pediatrician said that she was going to be a gymnast when she raised her head at two days old. So, Isabelle's mom enrolled her into a recreational class at the age of three and she fell in love with gymnastics. At the beginning of Isabelle's gymnastics career, she trained at 360 Gymnastics under coaches Rich and Michele Archer.
After the 2010 season, she started training at 10.0 Academy of Gymnastics in Stow, MA. She repeated level 8 in 2011. She finished fourth in the all-around with a 36.775 and third on floor exercise scoring a 9.500 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Level 8 Regionals where she placed fifth in the all-around and third on balance beam. She helped her state team to place first at the Regionals.
As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2012, Isabelle qualified to the Region 6 Championships where she placed third on balance beam, fourth on uneven bars and eighth in the all-around. She was alternate for the Level 9 Eastern Nationals. Isabelle continued competing level 9 in 2013. She had a great meet at the State Championships, finishing first on vault, floor exercise and in the all-around. At the Region 6 Championships, Isabelle placed first on uneven bars and in the all-around with a 37.150 as well as second on balance beam and third on floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals where she finished 17th in the all-around and second on floor exercise with a 9.450.
In 2014, Isabelle moved up to level 10 where she finished sixth in the all-around and third on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, she placed fifth in the all-around, second on uneven bars and fifth on floor exercise. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Jackson, MS where she finished 28th in the all-around and 11th on floor exercise out of 56 gymnasts. In 2015, Isabelle placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.200 and second on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, she finished eighth in the all-around and fifth on uneven bars. She was the first alternate for the Junior Olympic Nationals and competed at the National Invitational Tournament in Des Moines, IA. She placed third in the all-around with a 37.100 and first on balance beam and floor exercise.
Isabelle did really well in 2016 where she placed first in the all-around with a 37.375, first on uneven bars and second on floor exercise at the State Championships. AT the Region 6 Championships, Isabelle finished seventh in the all-around, third on floor exercise and fifth on uneven bars. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Ft. Worth, TX where she placed 30th overall and 12th on uneven bars and floor exercise out of 56 gymnasts.
Currently, Isabelle is preparing for the upcoming 2017 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 24 hours per week at 10.0 Academy of Gymnastics under coaches Dave Auger, Christalle Auger and Nicole Butterworth. Isabelle would like to compete for a Division 1 college gymnastics team.
