Jacquelynne Woods was born on September 23, 1999 in San Francisco, CA to Antonio and Paula Woods. Currently, Jackie is a senior at Angelo Rodriguez High School and she will graduate in 2017. She wants to excel in academics as well as in gymnastics. Her ultimate achievement would be to receive a science degree that will one day be beneficial to athletes and the sport of gymnastics.

Jackie was developing faster than she should have when she was younger. Her bone age was actually two years older than it should be. Jackie's mom initially put her in gymnastics to see if it would slow down/stunt her growth!

As a level 7 gymnast in 2011, Jacquelynne earned a bronze medal on vault at the State Championships. She moved up to level 8 for the 2012 season where she placed fifth in the all-around and first on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 1 Championships, finishing third on vault. As a level 9 gymnast in 2014, Jackie finished first on vault and second on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 1 Championships, she earned a bronze medal on vault. Jackie continued competing level 9 in 2015 where she placed seventh on uneven bars and eighth on vault at the Region 1 Championships.

In 2016 as a first-year level 10 gymnast, Jackie finished sixth in the all-around and fifth on vault and balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 1 Championships.

Currently, Jackie is preparing for the 2017 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 20-24 hours per week at Dream Xtreme Gymnastics in Vacaville, CA under coaches Annie Baker and Jennifer Pero. She is working hard to compete for a college gymnastics team
