Jaidyn Raby was born on June 28, 2002 to Michael and Kelly Raby. She has two sisters, Makayla and Ashlynne, two dogs and two cats. Currently, Jaidyn is an honor student at Northern High School, Owings, MD and she will graduate in 2020.

Jaidyn started taking tumbling class in 2005 at the age of three which lead to the love of the sport. She started her competitive gymnastics career at Edgewater Gymnastics Academy (EGA) in Panama City, FL, in the Prep Op (PO) program. While she was at EGA, she finished second all-around with a 37.600 and first on floor exercise at the 2009 Region 8 PO Championships. At the 2010 Region 8 PO Championships, she earned a bronze medal on uneven bars with a 9.500. In the summer of 2010, Jaidyn and her family relocated to Maryland.

In 2012, Jaidyn finished fourth on uneven bars at the Level 6 State Championships. Jaidyn moved up to level 8 for the 2014 season where she qualified to the State Championships. In 2015, she placed third in the all-around and first on uneven bars at the Level 8 State Championships also qualifying to the Region 7 Championships. As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2016, Jaidyn qualified to the Region 7 Championships. Jaidyn had a great level 9 season in 2017 where she finished sixth in the all-around and first on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she placed sixth in the all-around and first on uneven bars. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Lansing, MI, finishing eighth on balance beam and tenth on floor exercise. For Jaidyn's first season at 1st Class, she earned the “Most Dedicated” award at the team awards ceremony. Jaidyn moved up to level 10 for the 2018 season but was unable to compete most of the season due to an injury. In 2019, Jaidyn placed fourth on uneven bars at the Level 10 State Championships.

Jaidyn trains 23-27 hours per week at Capital Gymnastics National Training Center in Burke, VA under coaches Tatiana Perskaia and Jose Teran. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals the next few years. Jaidyn's ultimate goal is to compete for a Division I college gymnastics team.
