Jamie followed her older sister into gymnastics at four years old at Sonshine Gymnastics in Holly Springs, NC and has been there ever since. As a level 4 gymnast in 2010, Jamie finished first in the all-around and first on uneven bars and balance beam at the State Championships. In 2011 as a level 5 gymnast, she earned a bronze medal on balance beam at the State Championships.

Jamie skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2013 season. She placed first in the all-around with a 38.450 and first on uneven bars and floor exercise. She was on the North Carolina State Team for the Region 8 Championships where she placed seventh in the all-around with a 38.475 and fifth on balance beam. In 2014 as a level 8 gymnast, Jamie placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.025 and third on balance beam at the State Championships. As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2015, Jamie qualified to the Region 8 Championships. In 2016, she placed fifth on balance beam and sixth on uneven bars and floor exercise at the State Championships, qualifying to Regionals.

In 2017 as a first-year level 10 gymnast, Jamie finished fourth in the all-around and sixth on vault, uneven bars and balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she placed sixth in the all-around and sixth on uneven bars. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN where she went 4 for 4.

Currently, Jamie is preparing for the 2018 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 24 hours per week at Sonshine Gymnastics in Holly Springs, NC under coaches Heidi and Milan Stanovich. Her long-term goal is to obtain a Division I college scholarship.
