Jasmine Elizabeth Jones was born on August 1, 1999 in Myrtle Beach, SC to Jonathan and Wendy Jones. Currently, Jasmine is a senior at Carolina Forest High School and she will graduate from high school in the spring of 2017. She is a Honor Roll student where she maintains a 3.7 GPA. During Jasmine's spare time, she enjoys shopping and art.

Jasmine was in a summer camp at a gym and the head coach saw her in a recreational class and invited Jasmine to join pre-team. She has been training under coaches Ric Wagner and Lauren Foxworth most of her competitive gymnastics career.

As a level 5 gymnast in 2008, Jasmine finished second in the all-around and first on uneven bars and floor exercise at the State Championships. She skipped level 6 and start competing level 7 for the 2009 season. She finished fourth in the all-around and second on balance beam at the State Championships. Jasmine moved up to level 8 for the 2010 season. She placed second in the all-around and first on vault and uneven bars at the Silver Bells Invitational. At the Tiger Paw Classic, she finished third on uneven bars and in the all-around. Jasmine earned a bronze medal on balance beam at the Beach Break Invitational.

Jasmine quickly moved up to level 9 for the 2011 season. She placed second on balance beam and third on floor exercise at the Beach Break Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed second on uneven bars and balance beam as well as fourth in the all-around, qualifying to the Region 8 Championships. Jasmine missed most of the 2012 season due to an injury. She came back in 2013 where she placed first on vault, uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around at the Silver Bells Invitational. At the Gala, Jasmine finished first on uneven bars and third on vault. At the Hilton Head Island Invitational, she placed first on vault, second on floor exercise and third in the all-around. Jasmine finished second on vault, uneven bars and in the all-around at the Edgewater Classic. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished fourth in the all-around and fifth on vault, uneven bars and balance beam. This qualified Jasmine to the Eastern Nationals where she placed fourth on vault and 20th in the all-around.

In 2014, Jasmine started her season at the Made in the USA Sports Festival, finishing third on vault and fifth on uneven bars. At the Pink Invitational, she placed fourth in the all-around and first on vault and uneven bars. She finished first on uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around at the State Championships. Jasmine concluded her level 9 season at the Region 8 Championships, finishing fourth on vault and eighth on uneven bars.

Jasmine moved up to level 10 for the 2015 season. She swept the gold medals at the Silver Bells Invitational and Furman Classic. At the Kurt Thomas Invitational, she placed fifth on uneven bars. Jasmine finished first on uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around at the Jekyll Island Invitational. At the National Gymnastics Challenge, she placed fourth on vault. She did really well at the State Championships where she finished second in the all-around and first on balance beam. She concluded her season at the Region 8 Championships with a fifth place finish on floor exercise.

In 2016, Jasmine finished second in the all-around with a 37.000, first on uneven bars and second on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished in the top ten in the all-around and first on floor exercise with a 9.525.

Currently, Jasmine is preparing for the 2017 season as a third-year level 10 gymnast. She trains 17.5 hours per week at Ultimate Gymnastics Academy in South Carolina under coaches Ric Wagner and Lauren Foxworth. Jasmine would like to obtain a college scholarship.
