Jasmine Williamson was born on July 28, 2004 in Virginia. She has two sisters, Alexis and Katelyn, a brother, Brandon and a dog named Duke. Jasmine is an honor student at Patriot High School and she will graduate in 2022. She is a member of AP Scholars Program and National Honor Society. During Jasmine's spare time, she enjoys playing piano.
Jasmine's older sister was doing gymnastics and Jasmine wanted to do it as well. Therefore, she started taking gymnastics classes for fun at the age of four at GMS Gymnastics in Manassas, VA and has been there ever since. Jasmine started competing level 4 in 2011 where she placed third in the all-around with a 37.275 and first on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. She earned gold medals on vault, uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around at the 2012 Level 5 State Championships and 2013 Level 7 State Championships. Jasmine was named to America's Top 100 on balance beam with a 9.750 in level 7.
As a level 8 gymnast in 2014, Jasmine placed fourth in the all-around and third on balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the 2015 Level 9 State Championships, Jasmine placed third on uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around and qualified to the Region 7 Championships. Jasmine started competing level 10 in 2016. She placed fourth in the all-around and third on balance beam at the 2016 Level 10 State Championships and qualified to the Region 7 Championships. Jasmine was unable to compete in 2017 due to an injury. In 2018, Jasmine qualified to the Level 10 State Championships. Jasmine placed third on vault and fourth on floor exercise at the 2019 State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she placed fourth on vault. In 2020, Jasmine qualified to the Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Jasmine trains 20 hours per week at GMS Gymnastics in Manassas, VA under coaches Azin Youssefi, Linda Ayres, BJ Hall and Nancy Gregory. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals. Her long-term goal is to obtain a college gymnastics scholarship.
